Description
Darwin Airport Visit
This cache has been placed in the gardens just outside Darwin Airport.
There is a path from the Airport Terminal that leads down to the carparks, this garden and then goes on to the airport hotels.
So if you have time, take a wander down the path, through the garden and enjoy this interesting space.
The Matboerrma Garden has been established to showcase different groups of plants commonly found in the Top End.
The garden uses the Aboriginal language names for the plants and there is information showcasing each plant's special properties.
There is no need to leave the gravelled path to make the find.
So you should be safe from those nasty green ants that seem to be everywhere!
There is quite a bit of tree cover, so use the hint to make the find if you are having trouble with the coordinates.
Cache has been hidden as I thought that Darwin needed some more GCA physical caches and this airport garden provides a great spot.
It would be great if cachers can help with maintenance, as I am not a local.

Logs
I was determined to get this one before I left again maybe never to return
I dropped my luggage off at the terminal and headed straight out here for a find. What a lovely garden with interesting plants and names.
