Description
Before you leave Ayr, it would be best to find and log this cache. It has been hidden as part of the current (June/July 2021) game of Battleships. I was hoping to find some small ships to leave as the initial swag but I haven't been able to source them, so instead a small car and a pathtag have been included in the cache. I had numerous pathtags made for North America last year but unfortunately that trip didn't eventuate so the tags are finding homes in Australia. There is plenty of off road parking available near GZ so please don't attempt to make it a DIDO.

The incredibly slow truck in front of us combined with the need for a pitstop was enough incentive to stop here in this very pleasant park. 
The cache was the icing on the cake (or cache 
) and once at the geo-obvious GZ, I was soon signing the log at 13:25.

Even on a Sunday this is a busy location and we had a bit of a wait before we could return the cache to it's nook while a traveller searched the area for a few fresh mangoes on the trees near GZ. TFTC
Great Northern escape 2022 Day 97. Ayr Day 1. For my first day in Ayr, I set my eye on five cache to the north and in Ayr itself. I failed one, and I decided one was too far away, but the rest went well. I also did a tour of the Burdekin Machine preservation site in Brandon. A very impressive collection that would be great to see on a day everything is going on their show days.
As I came back jnto Ayr for the west, I stopped by this spot to visit another cache in town.

Our third cache visit to this lovely park... great to see one is a GCA. A few muggles around so I tried the nonchalant wander past GZ as there was only one place this cache was going to be. TFTC Smittengranny.

#GA5611 - 17:25; Day seven of the Townsville Mega adventure with Sol de lune. After a night in Nebo, we decided to press on to Townsville today. Polished off quite a few more in a GC series, then headed north with the occasional caching stop. After collecting another of the CO's caches further to the south, we also stopped off and grabbed this one for another bonus *FTF* as Townsville came closer. TFTC Smittengranny

Day 6 of the Townsville trip with LuckyL10n and after Nebo in was onward and upwards towards the home of the QLD mega.
After finding one our confidence was up and we stopped for this.....after I initially missed the turn off. Once back a GZ, LL made a quick find and we could again enjoy the air con of the car and finished off our day by getting to Townsville.
