Description

Shortish Walk from Mount Ainslie Lookout

Head down from the Mount Ainslie Lookout to find this cache, hidden on the trail that winds down to the Australian War Memorial.
The container can be found not far from the main path .
It is not too far down and shouldn't take long to find and get back up the hill.
Or walk up from the bottom and take in the sights and check out the Kokoda Trail plaques along the way.
There is a great spot nearby to take a couple of extra photos too.

BYOP - the cache will take pathtags and small swaps

I brought my new PiC up to the lookout to show him the sights of Capital City before the start of our meeting in an hour or so. When I told him this cache wasn't far away, he was intrigued enough to take the journey downhill for a look. Once at GZ, it was a nice quick find at 12:15 and we soon on our way back up the hill. Very Happy

Sol de lune

Headed up to check out the new trig and took the short walk down to this one. No issues at all and the cache was soon in hand. Log signed and it was back up to the car and off to the next one.
