Description

The classic and enormously popular Pac-Man video game came out in Japan on May 21, 1980, and by October of that year it was released in the United States. The yellow, pie-shaped Pac-Man character, who travels around a maze trying to eat dots and avoid four hunting ghosts, quickly became an icon of the 1980s. To this day, Pac-Man remains one of the most popular video games in history, and its innovative design has been the focus of numerous books and academic articles.

The game was created by Namco in Japan, and released in the U.S. by Midway. By 1981, approximately 250 million games of Pac-Man were being played in the U.S. each week on 100,000 Pac-Man machines. Since then, Pac-Man has been released on nearly every video game platform. On May 21, 2010, the Google Doodle even featured a playable version to mark the 30th anniversary of Pac-Man's release.

This Series will take you on series of roads from Gunns Plains to Upper Natone.

All containers have a pencil and a log sheet.

Hi DEZ055
A trip to the North West Coast saw many caches gathered.
This series was some of those targeted.
It was great to drive roads not done before.
The series was very enjoyable, the caches well presented and generally easy to find.
Those not done will be the goal of a future trip, not far into the remainder of the year.

Apologies for the repetitive logs but.....
Took the van/house to stay at Pioneer Park for the weekend and pick up some caches in the area.
Friday Mr TazScout was out on his own and nabbed a few caches while filling in time. TFTC

We wandered up the old section of road following the GPS. When we were 11m away we noticed that we would probably need to climb up to another level. We had yet to spot a fence so began poking around using the other part of the clue. After a few minutes of unsuccessful hunting one of us peered around the other side of the tree and spotted the telltale colour of these cache containers under the leaf debris. When we were replacing the container, we noticed the delipidated fence and the decaying posts. Good hint!

Thanks for this cache DEZ055. We really enjoyed this hunt. We emptied the water out of the container and dried it before signing and replacing the slightly wet log.

Staying at Burnie with whitewebbs we targetted this series of caches.

We enjoyed exploring the roads less travelled.

Many thanks dez055 for creating this geoart.

While staying in Burnie we headed out caching with Tassie Trekkers to locate the Pacman geoart that has appeared since our last visit. Thanks DEZ055 for creating and hiding this great series. It was a lovely drive around the forests, sometimes on roads we had not been on before. TFTC

It's a long time since this fence has been of any use.
One of the few we used the GPS at, only because we couldn't see the clue from where we parked.
Thanks.

A journey into familiar territory, having spent a fair amount of time working out this way.
All caches were found easily with no problems.
