Description

Located in Whiteman Park

Close to the given parking co-ords is a lookout with great views over Whiteman Park.

The cache can be found at S31°50.ABC'  E115°56.DEF'  where:

I took my daughter out to see this one. It took quite some dodging of kangaroo poo to arrive at GZ without icky shoes. Easy find. TFTC

Found with Lazarus 68, The cache is in amazing condition considering the time it has sat here untouched. Almost three years between finds. Was out in the park trying to cross off a few unfound ones off the list. Was hoping to find clear the park out but that was not to be, will have to come back another day to achieve that goal. Many thanks for the cache.

Wow, amazing to think this has been unfound for 1 year and 1 day Smile

Had some free time yesterday at work while waiting for a computer to process some data so thought I'd go through the puzzles. All bar #5 were pretty straightforward. Looked at #5 for ages then suddenly a word appeared, then another and soon had the answer Very Happy

Dropped past early this morning for a quick find with the coords spot on! Beautiful area and great views back to the City. Was nearly blown away while signing the log by the gale force winds.

Cache nice and dry, all looks well. Took a card. TFTC!

I solved this one quite a while ago, but hadn't had a chance to come out and find the cache, although its only ~5kms from home.

Stopped by this afternoon on a cold, wet and windy day and made a quick dash for the cache before the park closed. Followed a fresh set of footprints right up to the cache.

Took a finders card, thanks for the puzzle and the cache!

Solved last night and was out with Mrs stevekellyxley and a potential newbie today (thanks for the credit from Kelly, but she's the one that got the majority of the cryptic clues). It was an easy find and we enjoyed listening to the tree whispering to us in the wind. TFTC. TNLN.

Didnt have all the answers but enough to get me close enough to make a nice easy find in this nice part of the park.
Including GCA Caches this is our 700th find, so an extra buzz to finding this one.
Many thanks for a reason to return again to this great park.

It was nice to have an excuse to re-visit this great park. I too thought I was going to have to walk the line as I'd had trouble with one of the puzzles but at the last moment the answer came to me. This made finding the cache very easy indeed, although the final location became very apparent even from quite a distance. TFTH.

Found around 9:30am - had trouble with one of the puzzles but figured we would probably do okay with a hundred odd metre range and relatively sparse cache hide sites - success!

Took third-to-find certificate (with not a few giggles of delight!), thanks for the cache Outenabout!

We had a sleep in today, so by the time we saw this cache Chwiliwr was already watching it and we figured he'd probably also found it. We too had a little trouble with one of the puzzles but it meant that there was only a short line to walk. The first set of co-ords we came to was not the right spot but it was only a matter of minutes before we had the cache in hand at 1015hrs. Took the STF certificate (always appreciated). Thanks Outenabout for the cache and for a different kind of puzzle.

I don't know what woke me early but I checked my mail and saw the notification of a new cache so worked out 5/6ths of the answers and decided that was enough as the last bit to be worked out was too cryptic for me but I did work out that there could only be three answers to that bit so plugged in all three to my GPS.

I arrived early than the opening time but they had opened the gates so I went in anyway and was FTF at the first of the three coordinates that I had work out. This was about 8am.

Thanks for the cache. Dropped in a mini mobile backup device but took nothing.

To just a quick note to say that I have added the co-ord checker.
