Description
Umbagong District Park
This park is a hidden slice of tranquility located in the middle of the suburb of Latham.
The trails take you along lovely footpaths and little bridges weave in and out of this nature lovers paradise.
It is a significant native grassland area with many rare plants and animals and a great place to bring visitors to see local wildlife.
A cycle path runs the full length of the park along the creek and there are two playgrounds on the north side of the park.
Parking: I do not recommend that you park on the side of Ginninderra Drive to access this cache.
Many bike riders use the bike lane and vehicles stopped here would make it dangerous for all.
Instead, head in to Latham and park at the end of McArthur Place and take a short walk to GZ.
You could continue on to enjoy the park and collect other cache hides.
There is room for swaps - please cover to prevent being muggled
