Description

The name 'Oakey Hill' is thought to come from the Drooping She-Oaks which grow in the reserve.

Aboriginal people lived and managed the landscape in this region for thousands of years.
The Oakey Hill Reserve protects several known Aboriginal heritage sites including stone artefacts that are of cultural significance to traditional custodians.

The cache can be found a short way off the trail
Please recover the container - BYOP - room for small swaps

Stuck at home for far to long these last days a walk was in order this late afternoon.

All the new GCA and unfound GC cache prompted a return to this nice Hill. Thank you KK!!

Further up the trail and again off into the bush for a quick find. Sat at GZ for a little while looking at my apartment block a little to the west. Certainly are a few of them out this way. Log signed and it was back down the track and off home.

Thanks for the quick caches...and the FTF again KittyKatch
