The first time I've been to Lake Crescent. Quite a pretty spot in here.
Once the gps settled the cache was found and in good nick.

Many tftc Tassie Trekkers...much appreciated...cheers ST.

Last one of the lakes we found today

After parkrun I drove to our normal coffee shop and met Goose before we headed North again to explore the highlands again, this week we went to Oatlands then turning Northwest towards Interlaken, we called a few places I had never been to before like Wilburville, Flintstone etc, in the end we made a loop of it and headed to Poatina with a small side quest to Cressy before hitting the highway around Powranna and then heading South again.
Another big day starting at 10and not getting home till 10pm, I found 18 caches and the 4WD covered 524kms.

Thanks for the cache.

The final GCA cache in the area. We spent a bit of time at the sluice before heading off to GZ, This one took a little bit of checking but we found it safe and dry.
Thanks Tassie Trekkers

After another chat with the fishermen we made our way across the weir to this hide. There was a lot of water around but fortunately the hide was high and dry. After some careful poking with our poles and looking we assertained the cache was alone in its hole so in the with hand and out with the container. The contents were nice and dry.

Thanks for this cache Tassie Trekkers. This is certainly a very pretty spot. There was a pair of swan swimming in the reeds not far from the shore.

Out for a day with OldSaint mainly as a maintenance run for me, then on the way home we diverted to Lake Sorell and Interlaken to grab a few GCA caches.

Wandered over the weir to this cache. The first hole I looked in had a pair of mens underwear ..... ok not in there.... Second place I looked there it was.

FTF @1.00 pm.We headed out on a beautiful winter's day to do a 400 km circuit to find one missile for the current battleship games and along the way we collected 15 FTFs and this was one of them. A nice drive in an area we have not cached in for a long time. We enjoyed the walk across the weir to the cache. Spotted a large wombat near the water. TFTC
