Interlaken Stumped Again Tasmania, Australia

Hi Tassie Trekkers. Today we found your cache on the Devo trip for the year.
VK7HCH and I hatched yet another plan to whip it up to the north to continue our plundering of caches both GC and GCA. As there are so many caches in this area we had freedom of choice to do those we wished to. We have solved a few puzzles so we can find those and lots of others. Although I didn’t find the girl U want, the caches were enough. It’s a beautiful world here in Tassie.

Thanks for hiding the cache for us to find today.

Swampy and I headed back to plunder more of the Northern coast over the Hobart Show long weekend. 4 day long weekend for 1 days annual leave. Sweet. This is day 1. Hobart to Devonport via the central highlands. This run has us finding both GC and GCA caches. So many caches, so little time.

Another quick find on my journey along Interlaken Rd.

A day trip up to the Lakes to find (and refind) some caches, a great day out, some easy and some harder finds.

Straight after parkrun this morning i meet gooseandegg at our normal coffee shop and after a few minutes chat the goose loaded his gear in the 4WD and we were off heading North for the day.

We almost made it to our furthest target cache without stopping but called for some GCA caches along the way, after grabbing some stunning views from a new budgie cache we headed to the last one and started on our drive back after a short detour.

The cache of the day was a out of the blue surprise showing me a location i had no idea of and a feature i didn't know existed in Tasmania or Australia.

It was dark and 9:40 before I got home, almost 11 hours and 460km made for a good caching trip.

Hi Trekkers
Returned to Lake Crescent and the surrounding area to collect GA caches that I hadn't found before
This was one of them
The cache was Sainted quickly at 1133 hours
Staying for two nights at the Great Lake Hotel in order to do more around Bronte, Wentworth Dam and Lake Echo should the weather co-operate

We kept on our way along Interlaken Road stopping at the relevant stumps. We carefully removed the cover from this container to discover its guardian had constructed a cocoon and attached it to the container lid. This required careful undoing so that the guardian was not dislodged. Container and contents were in good condition.

Thanks for this cache Tassie Trekkers. We were pleased to be able to return the container to its hide without dislodging the cocoon.

This series was on my to do list for the day and has brought me on to a road I have never been on before. Thank you for the series.

Out for a day with OldSaint mainly as a maintenance run for me, then on the way home we diverted to Lake Sorell and Interlaken to grab a few GCA caches.

Stopped by the stump on the way through to Bothwell. TFTC

FTF @ 1.40 pm. We headed out on a beautiful winter's day to do a 400 km circuit to find one missile for the current battleship games and along the way we collected 15 FTFs and this was one of them. A nice drive in an area we have not cached in for a long time. TFTC
