Description
A Sistema Container, a geocachers favourite
"Land for Wildlife": is a wonderful initiative and provides the cover for this cache. There is a safe area to park near a gate, a good one for the geokids but be safe around animals. Say hi to the the 'keeper of the cache' he's friendly. For those exploring early morning or late afternoon, beware of possible muggle activity. Enjoy your journey and destination. Local knowledge, at the end of this road is the childhood home of a former famous Australian Cricketer and a fellow lefty :) , http://www.qldcricket.com.au/default.asp?PageID=255
For the first to find, there is something for the Nightcacher.

GA & GCA Find # 1,700
We had loaded up Scooby Doo (Car) & the Mystery Machine (Van and mobile GEO HQ) and headed off to Kingaroy QLD for the inaugural Baconfest. After checking into the Kingaroy Holiday Park (Recommended) we were all set for 3 days of celebrating all things bacon. Although apart from the event name, most of the weekend showcased pork rather than bacon.
With all that yummy bacon and pork on offer (the “Butchers Block’ meal in the RSL bistro is certainly a vegan free zone) we needed to do a bit in between to stop the arteries hardening completely, what better way to do it than chase a few caches.
One of 20+ easy finds in between rain showers and lunch at Baconfest.
Would have been a lot easier if I had followed the fence line in instead of bush bashing it from the wrong gate…
We took nothing but memories; we left nothing but footprints, and our tag.
The hide is excellent, the container is in good nick. and the log is in good condition and ready for the next finder.
Thanks for the cache free2explore.
Cheers

I really should read the discriptions a bit better. Went through the mega thick vegetation to find this one when there was a nice easy stroll to access it. Came across some very interesting things in thick bush (metal items with a wire baricade around them amost like trip wires) but it was an adventure. tftc
Second find out this way while in the area and heading through to Bundy. Went the wrong to GZ but eventually arrive to find the container sitting nicely in its hidey hole. Log was signed and the cache replaced and then it was a simple walk along the fence and up to the road and the car.
Thanks again Free3Explorer for the cache and the drive out to the area.

Came out to check on this one to see if it was still there.

Wandered down for a quick find at GZ. Had the company of an older jersey cow, a younger one and 3 little calves. They walked all the way with me and were quite inquisitive but not friendly enough to let me pat them. No sign of any horse here today though.
Thanks, a long time since this one has been found but it is still in excellent condition. It's a pity more Australian cachers don't support the GCA caches.

What a lovely place to visit.
We have lived in the South Burnett for most of our lives but have never travelled this road before.
Parked across the road and walked to GZ.
There were no horses to say hello to today but we did enjoy the views.
The inside of the container was a little damp but the log was still dry.
Thank you to the CO for bringing us to the area.

Went to look for this one today, geokids got distracted saying 'Hello' to the Keeper of the Cache but Geodad soon had cache in hands, all in good order.

Two years to the day since the last find - c'mon folks, what's keepin' ya ?? I'm introducing a friend to the wonders of geocaching, and thought this one would be a good candidate to get the ball rolling. GPSr had us quite close to the spot, but it took a bit of a search by the "newbie" to actually locate the container. It was in perfect condition, and after signing the log we were on our way. No sign of the "keeper of the cache" this time - bit of a pity really; he was good for a few laughs last time we were there. Cheers and thanks, Bindair Dundat and John N.

Once we found the correct place to park it was and enjoyable walk to the cache. L Cheeky elf keyring T Geocaching patch TFTC
Found this one on a damp Sunday morning, after brekky at the nearby Bello Vista. We had a nice long chat to "Mr Ed", who seemed convinced that we had apples/carrots concealed inside our jackets - maybe next time. Cache was in good condition. Mrs Dundat wanted the Fluffy Dolphin, but I convinced her to leave it for future geokids. We left a GCA cloth patch. TFTC, Cheers, Bindair Dundat.

FTF at 0715. Parked opposite the B and B and said hello to the horse which followed me all the way to GZ. Very quick easy find. Took the FTF Gift. Thankyou. Very friendly horse and you are well hidden from the road and B&B by the vegetation. Quick walk down the track. Did not drive down the track adjacent to the fence in case the owner of the horse arrived to feed it. By the looks of its feed bin it was either very hungary or is still waiting for breakfast.
