On our trip from Birdsville to Broken Hill with our caravan on tow.
The track was very rocky and bumpy after having had so much Big Red Bash traffic. We parked the caravan on Innamincka Town common
then headed out to explore and find these caches. That is after realising how we had misloaded the GPSr and didnt have any caches at
the dig tree.
Great to now be finding some caches and exploring the history of the area. Oh how tough it would have been in 1860!

We are enjoying our outback adventure visiting lots of historical spots around here. These blokes were so close to succeeding.
Thanks fo this cache.
Thanks fo this cache.
On the way back from Coongie lake I passed fairly close to a few of these B&W caches. There was not much to see, but I made the walk and recorded an image. Thanks

Found on our trip to Innamincka. Better than any history lesson learnt in the classroom. Hot, Overcast and Windy today. The actual lhistoric marker is located back about 150m - near carpark
Found during our winter holiday to Innaminka. Reading Sarah Murgatroyds book "The Dig Tree" brings the whole story to life (or Death).
The Creek is still running high at the moment and the area is alive with birds. Hard to imagine the place 150 years ago.
Enjoyed this location on the drive through the area looking at the history of the Explorers
Cheers from the Posspet Boys
