Description
What a delightfully maintained little cemetery! How can a tiny rural cemetery be so well-kept when the cemeteries in the nearby big city are nowhere near as tidy?
No need to find numbers on headstones for this cache. Find the straightforward hide near the gate then wander around and absorb some of the history.
200ml snaplock. BYOP.

Logs
Returning from a walk further down the coast, and we hadn't taken anyone else in our car because we didn't want to share our colds. That meant we could stop at this bijou cemetery (Mrs D had been here before on caching business but Mr D had only ever biked past on one of those forestry road rides).
Had realised that an unfamiliar cacher had placed a Groundspeak cache here as well (think they must be from Nelson - why does the reviewer allow a cache to be placed when it's obvious the CO won't be around to maintain it?)
An Anzac wreath on the gate. Found both caches together, with the logbooks swapped over so both containers had Caching Australia information...!
Wrote the cache name, cache code, CO and placed date details on each logbook. Uncle's GA logsheet goes in the 200 ml sistema snaplock. TDtheTD23's logbook (now labelled) goes in the gladware container.
Then time for a wander around and see the local names. Lovely place to be buried!

I signed the log slips of both caches today at this little cemetery; the caches are side by side and it’s hard to tell which is which. Both appear to be geocaching.com.au ones!

Quickly found here. Found this one first before finding the GC cache nearby. Out this way working today so took the opportunity to grab these caches. Tftc.

While getting the adjacent traditional cache from an alternative site I decided to sign this. That was the push that I needed to join up.
Further to my previous note, I have visited and the new gc.com cache is literally just centimetres from this one, hidden in the same item.
A note to alert anyone looking for this cache that another cache at this location was published on gc.com yesterday. As gc.com doesn't alert its cache hiders to hides on other caching sites being in close proximity (which gc.com.au DOES do - well done!) the gc.com hider doesn't appear to have known about this existing hide. On paper, the two caches appear to be very close so the potential for confusion exists. I hope to get to the location asap to confirm this. Make sure you have the correct cache in hand - this cache is clearly identified within as being listed on gc.com.au
A Sunday drive out to the coast as half of Dunnas descended on the bays and beaches emasse grabbing every carpark available and just about every square metre of beach side sand was occupied on a blissfully sunny day. Left the hordes behind at the campground and coffee hut and wagon wheels found their way onto the first gravel road in ages heading to another cemetery I wouldn't know about if it wasn't for caching. The No.1 still knows how to open a gate and we wandered to the first place hiding the cache. Dug down to the plastic and a muggle sheet had the first spot signed for the [FTF] tick and obligatory photo of us signing the cache. Returned the dry cache under duff and had a look around the cemetery. Contrary to page, the rubbish isn't where you think but it's there although the grounds are kept tidy enough lacking the vandalism predominate in the city bone yards. Some big trees felled awhile ago had been tidied up and we grabbed a bag of firewood and cones for the residence searching under the hedges. Unperturbed by the racket we were making two massive pigs taking a siesta next door in the shade weren't disturbed. The fence hardly looked capable of withstanding a frontal charge if they suspected we might have a bucket of nuts for them, they probably wouldn't bee interested in the sticky bun boletes just ripe enough for picking. Kiddyboo noise from the top property carried down on the wind whilst muggles were just leaving their gateway from the farm down the gully. Thanks for the FTF placement U.N.C.L.E. have a sticker for the fun.
