Description

This is a high terrain cache that shouldn't be done alone.

I placed this cache a couple of years ago now, in fact i think it was with Gooseandegg when he published the GCA cache GA14090 Gorgeous view, but after I had placed the cache I considered it too risky and didnt publish it anywhere.

Having been back with Tassie Trekkers, WhiteWebbs and gooseandegg in August this year and told them about it they asked if they found it would I publish it?

So this really is a cache placed in reverse, but after TT climbed up /down with the aid of a rope to get the cache and add his WW and G&Es names to the log I feel obliged to publish it.

However I am publishing this cache with the notice that it is in remote and dangerous location, do not do this cache alone, you will need a rope or a ladder to be able to reach this hide.

I take NO responsibility for what happens to you while you try and find this cache.

We'd come to this area to do the loop walk around the Bluff River Gorge accompanied by our muggle friend who is fast becoming an experienced geocacher by dint of being on numerous trips where more often than not she finds the caches. Anyway, whilst doing this excellent walk we had of course passed this cache & checked it out. We didn't have any appropriate equipment with us and simply carried on with the walk. During which someone, (can't remember who), came up with the bright idea of utilising the ladder we had as part of our roof top tent set up. So it was at the end of the walk we started out to retrieve said ladder. Luckily for us our muggle friend is a bit of a trail runner so she jogged out, retrieved the ladder & jogged back, meeting us about halfway back to the car. From here we returned to the cache taking turns carrying the ladder (fortunately it was made of aluminium so not super heavy, just a bit awkward to carry). At GZ the ladder made short work of getting to the cache. It was in good condition. Thanks for a fun little challenge.

Well as the listing says, I was with the CO when this cache was 'placed' (although 'lobbed' might be a better description). We've spoken about that memorable day on a few occasions Whistle We returned with Mr WW and Mr TT so they could find my cache but when we mentioned this one they were keen for a look. We just had to remember how to get there Pray , we eventually did and Mr TT had us all holding our breath as he accepted the challenge to reach the cache. My name was already in there as a beta tester but I scribbled in the logbook again. Looking back through my photos I was hoping to have a picture of Mr TT in situ, but in all honesty we had our hands at the ready in case he slipped. He didn't! Clapping
Thanks SSR, although I do remember telling myself last time that I was never coming here again. What would I know? Speak to the Hand

In August while walking in the area with gooseandegg, Tassie Trekkers and the CO, this cache was found 3m up in a crack. Thankfully Mr T made the climb safely with the support crew on standby to assist. We agree this cache should not be attempted without support of other cachers. Thanks SSR for listing so we can log our find. TFTC

Joint *FTF* with whitewebbs and gooseandegg as Mr T accepted the challenge to attempt this cache. This one is definitely not for the faint hearted so pleased to see it published after signing the logbook back in August.
Many thanks SSR for a memorable cache.

Ready to be found.
At your own risk.
