Description

Standing up amongst the tree tops, you get a fantastic view to the city.

It is approx. a 600mtr round trip from the parking area at the end of Copley Rd  -   S31°46.386'  E116°03.098'

The cache you are looking for is a camo painted 2ltr Sistema container with my usual log book, pencil, sharpener, swaps and finders cards.  There is also a 1stTF prize and a 1stTF, 2ndTF & 3rdTF certificate.

Allow some time to enjoy this area and if you haven't been here before, there are several other caches in the area to find.

Keep an eye out for Kangaroo's and Goat's and make sure you have enough water with you when walking in this area.

Great views indeed Smile

Nearly 2 years since being found! The side of the container has a big hole burnt in it but we managed to gather all the bits and sign the log book. TFTC

Found today, tripping over myself (literally, ouch!) before I found it. There is some fire damage to the cache (see photos), but seems to have survived the recent rain unscathed. It's fairly protected, but may need a new container soon.

Thanks for bringing me to this lovely spot.

Headed up to Jumbuck Hill today to do the GCA caches and a couple of GC ones as well. Quick find here. Enjoyed the view as I took time out to apply some DEET before continuing the hike.

Great spot here and a well stocked cache. Signed the log and dropped in a path tag.

Thanks for the hide Outenabout

Was in the area hunting down some GC puzzle caches so dropped past to see if I could find this one. Quick find at GZ. Wow, almost 2 years and no finds. Cache in great condition. Must return one day to find the others in the area. Would have looked today but ran out of time. TFTC. Clan MinotaurClan MinotaurClan Minotaur

Mr & Mrs Felix out hunting frogs RibbitRibbit a little further north today. Dropped back here to find a few caches aswell. Dancing

Bit of a decent hike in here, but all in all think we picked up 9 caches! Nice to cross these off before it get's way too hot to be in the area. Very Happy

Took some nice photo's in the area too! Saw another couple hiking in the area, they left as we got to one of the caches, but they hadn't signed the log so we guess they werent' cachers? Think

Cache in good condition too.

This was actually the last we did in here as we missed it in the beginning hoping that the trail might bring us back to it as we seemed to be zigzagging a bit, but alas no, we had bypassed it and had to come back to it. Short walk to the car though from here!

This was our last cache for the day as we made our way back to the car. I was quite sad to be leaving the area and we're off back to Sydney in a day or so which means we can't get back here again Sad We didn't manage to get to all the caches in the area so when we ever come back west, I'll still have an excuse to come out here again. I reckon I will revisit this spot, it's a lovely view.

My daughter was competing in the State Dressage Championships at the State Equestrian Centre so I hitched a ride and took the opportunity to collect some of Outenabout’s caches in the area between dressage events.

Thanks outenabout for a nice walk in the hills.

I've been up this hill many times before, and I'm pretty sure this won't be the last time Smile

Unfortunately the city views were interrupted today as a fire broke out not long before I came up here and the cloud of smoke obscured the entire city.

Luckily they got onto that quick and it was sorted by the time I got back to the car after a few more caches.

Thanks for the walk and the cache Outenabout! Took a finders card.

Our first cache of 4 today up on this hill with wonderful views. We have been up here a few times now but we don't mind as although the walk is hard it is definately worth it. We hadn't expected it but we were luckiy enough to collect the 3rd to find certificate. Thanks for bringing us back up here and showing us some new vantage points.

Went for a late morning drive with better half and called in to find this cache. *FTF* about 11am on a fine morning with very good views all around.

The rubbish near the cache seems to indicate that others like the views as well. We also saw the remains of a campfire further up behind the rocks.

Thanks for the cache.
