Description
Located outside the Tax Office in Wollongong
A nice little cache outside the Tax Office. Come and enjoy this public garden area. Beware of smoking muggles overlooking you when you hunt. No need to leave the path/stair area (i.e. DON'T JUMP IN THE GARDENS!).
Lots of paid parking during business hours but there is free 15 minute parking on Auburn St (located at S34 25.64 E150 53.372)
The hint is fairly explicit so use it if you must.
This cache is wheel-chair accessible with some assistance if approached from Atchison St. (no steps but slightly graded slope to access GZ).

Hello FluffFish thanks for the cache.
I stayed the night in this lovely town while on my way to Newcastle for my sons wedding.
Last night I went for a walk to find this cache of yours with no luck as the gates were locked.
This morning I managed a quick find.

Today I made the area of northern Wollongong unsafe with my geocaching activities. 23 finds, six GCA ones, two puzzles. A good time was had by all! Errr me.
Quick find by fiddling in the white hanging parts! TFTC.

Reckon the lollipop muggle at the nearby roadworks wondered why we were doing blockies here as we looked for a parking spot to access this one. Once we found somewhere suitable for the campervan we walked the short distance to GZ where Mr Beetle found the container while I was still trying to get some workable coordinates.
It was a larger container than we were expecting here and luckily we had the place to ourselves.
Thanks.

Came through early to pick up my daughter for breakfast this morning. Nice and quiet so was an easy find. At first I was feeling all around where something might be stashed and then I sat down to rethink possible hiding places... and figured it out. Clever. TFTC
Terrific little cache, I know the spot well and am always amazed that there's something hiding. As an aside, all things change even taxes, and the building no longer houses the Taxation Office, it's now the S.E.S Headquarters. TFTC
Found on Monday but this little bugger was stuck tight in its hide.
Returned today and under the cover of my brolly I made the retrieval and signed the log.

#GA708 - 14:25; Missed this one on the run through the Gong with Sol de lune a month back, when we did a winter games day out. Sol had previously bagged this one, so I was left to my own devices. Speaking of devices, the batteries died in the GPSr on that visit, so I abandoned the search. No similar problems today. Made my way to GZ, where I did a bit more wandering and checking. Decided to read the description a bit more closely and ended up finding the cache in the first place I'd looked on my last visit Managed to fashion an extraction tool from the available materials close to hand and soon after had the log signed. Hope I've placed the cache to make the extraction a little easier for the next finder, although that could be some time away yet . TFTC fluffyfish

Almost forgot to log this one, the last one for the day, another almost 2 years unfound.
Proved to be a bit of challenge to get the little cache out and a bit of wire loop would have helped.
All in good condition except for the spiders webs!
Thanks for another cache today.

GCA 228 - 4361. Another find in Wollongong for "McFitzdeLune7" - Mcphan, myself, Sol de Lune and ZsaZsa7.
After the fun experience of finding the night cache we were driving past this one and decided on just one more for the evening. Sol located it and the long fingers of Mcphan ensured we were able to sign the log for the find. Thanks fluffyfish !

459. The last find on a day that started with an aborted attempt for my 5000th GC find and ended with a group attempt on this cache. Included in the finder was Zsazsa7 who won't log it as he doesn't do GCA (but has in the past...?) Found by SDL and eventually extracted by moi.

Found in the first place I looked! Second time I have been here for a cache! No muggles on Anzac Day afternoon, especially in the rain. Not a place you'd want to visit anyway, except when caching. Thanks fluffyfish for the cache

Not many finders on this one but there has been one which was not logged online. Retrieved the cache, checked the log (gratz to Tuena on FTF) and then re-hid it.
Had to be in Wollongong anyway today (wife insisted on shopping) so why not combine it with some caching. Kids found this one before I had a change to go for a search.

Caught the train up, found the cache & then returned home on the next train. Very relaxing with good views of the ocean. One of the benefits of living < 10 minutes walk from a station. No smokers of course & no one else about. Did think of walking to the "The Wall" but will have to leave earlier in the day for that one. Thanks.
