Description
Lake Dunn is a beautiful freshwater lake east of Aramac and south of Galilee Lake in the Barcaldine Shire. There are camping facilities including power, water, toilets and showers available by booking ahead. The incredible Sculpture Trail that runs past here is well worth a look. I already have a GC cache on the lake's island but there are no GCA caches here, so today I decided to rectify this anomaly. It is the beginning of a series of caches that may be found anywhere in Australlia and certainly will not constitute a power trail.

Great Northern escape 2022 Day 144. Barcaldine Day 4. I went for another long drive today. Starting with back to Aramac to do the Lake Dunn sculpture trail loop. I returned to Barcaldine in the early afternoon to try to finish my caching around town, but it was about a fifty fifty affair, and then it started raining and did not stop all night. Forty mm by breakfast.
Even though I was not going out to the island, I wanted to do this cache. I found myself on the ground and eventually saw this neatkly hidden cache
Thanks for the cache Smittengranny
