Description

Located between the Estuary to the West and Roo's to the East

I would recommend visiting this cache in the late afternoon as that is when the Kangaroo's are in their biggest numbers. At times there are literally hundreds of them playing, feeding and relaxing in the paddock just near the cache.

The cache you are looking for is a camo painted Sistema container with my usual Log Book, Pencil, Sharpener and a few swaps for the kids.  There is a 1stTF, 2ndTF & 3rdTF certificate and also a 1stTF Prize.

Parking is available within a few metres of the cache.  I suggest allowing some extra time to walk down to the Estuary and obviously to view the Roo's interacting with each other.

The jinta mob has been a bit lacking in cache finds lately so Mrs jinta decided that a weekend away was in order to try and grab a few caches while exploring this area! We headed towards Bunbury grabbing a few GCA caches along the way and had an absolute blast collecting caches this weekend. Fave points will be awarded when deserved, thanks for putting this cache out. Cheers and TFTC.

Called in on the way home from a GC overnight caching run to Rockingham.

A nice easy find and thankfully didn't have to get my feet wet. Only about six kangaroos across the road but lots more down the road

TFTC all safe and sound

I took a short detail from route down south for the weekend to visit this patch of bush for the first time. I didnt see any kangaroos, I think it might have been too late, it was pitch black. Luckily I found this one quickly, with the aid of my phone light. Tftc Outenabout

Found easily by geokid 1/4, we live nearby and have been stopping here to watch the roos for years. Great spot cache was completely dry inside and out despite having an inch of rain today. swapped a figurine from sunset cache down the road with donkey cards. TFTC

This is a great spot, you can always be guaranteed of seeing some kangaroos no matter what time of the day. We often come this way and are amazed at how unperturbed they seem by the cars whizzing past and the odd tourist stopping to take photos.

Another great location along the Australind foreshore, a few kangaroos on the nearby paddocks. Nice little cache left small figurine.

DancingOut of a day of caching around the Bunbury area with Wileyclan, a fantastic winters day, the sun shining and lots of caches to claim Rolling Eyes A quick find, with a nice view out over the water, thanks for the Cache and bringing us here

Found on a short southern run with rudi63. We parked in a nearby location and walked the short distance to the cache area. So many places to look so I read the hint to rudi63. He agreed with what the hint said and had the cache in hand pretty mush as I fininshed reading.

Nice spot for a cache, I like the pathway that it is located on.

I took nothing and left nothing today

Thanks for the cache Outenabout

Cheers Cool

Embarassed We came down to Australind to collect our old friend Gnignox Gnatalis in the Geognome race. We arrived at GZ only to find a vehicle parked on top of the GZ location. Whilst waiting to see where the muggle was a mountain bike rider approached at speed. We sat and watched as he headed for the great mound at the end indicating the end of the road. He kept riding no obstacle for a mountain bike right! Doh! Up in the air he went and down he came with a crash. No injuries except to pride and of course the shock of it. So wish we had video for funniest home videos! We decided it was a bit crowded and moved off to come back in 20mins. It was 40 degrees today, but reasonable in the shade here. TFTC, TNLN & SL

Found after searching every tree as I didn't have access to the cache description so the first time was searching too low.

Thanks for the cache.
