Description

something seen in the nearby lakeThis was originally intended as an 'evil twin' to my "What this cache really needs...is SCIENCE!" (GA1635) cache, to list at the same time. But I've been slack, and have left the empty cache container out in the bush for over 3 years without going back give it a logbook...

The name of a nearby road was the inspiration for this. Parking is close by, with a short walk along a bush trail to an ammo container. When you find the cache, you have the choice of either making a trade with a monsterish item (monster toys, books, chainsaws left over from the 1993 Newcastle Zombie Apocalypse, etc.), or listing your favourite monsters in the logbook.

Disrespect will be shown to any off-theme items left in the cache. You know what I'm like towards those who think their idea of geocaching is the only valid one... -_-)

(And just for the record, my favourite monsters are 'The H. P. Lovecraft Mythos' (Culthlu, Shoggoths, Mi-go, Azathoth, et.al), Daleks (Dr Who), and the Lickers in the Resident Evil 2 videogame.)

Exploring Newcastle today, we focused on finding GCA caches and your cache was one we found.
This one took a lot of searching, but persistence paid off and Mr T found the cache. Cache and contents in excellent condition.
Many thanks CJB for placing this cache and adding to our geocaching experience today.

Passing through Newcastle we decided to mainly concentrate on getting GA caches. We weren't having a good run on the traditional GA caches though and this was another one we couldn't find. Perhaps 5 years of bush cover has hidden this one too well.
Thanks.

Very Happy After a good search we finally found this top cache! Took some creepy crawlies and left behind Animal (from the muppets).

Probably not the best time to go looking for this, late at night and after a lot of rain. I circled and circled the final gz for about 30 minutes until I took the plunge. Had cih quickly after. Saddly I did not have time to take a good look at at the contents.
My all time favourite monsters are Zombies, especially the flesh eating ones. My favourite monster killer is Anita Blake - brilliant.

After a monster of a load to the nearby tip, we took a detour to find this cache.
Didn't have any monsters with me, but my favourite monsters are Bella Lugosi and Boris Karloff in the roles they play.
My other real-life monster is my mother-in-law! Only kidding, Mother Machree!!!

Was going by today so I decided to stop in.

The GPS was no use but a pattern search turned up the goods.

Favourite monster is MIKE from Monsters Inc.

Headed out to get this at the first opportuity which was several hours after it was published but being a GCA cache I new I still had a chance at *FTF* and after a very short search I had the empty log book in hand. Cache wasn't big enough to leave a monster truck so I just mentioned Godzilla.

Thanks.

Finally published, after sitting in the bush without a logbook for 3 years. Smile
