Description
Newnham Reserve is an area of parkland with a sealed walking track. It is used by local residents to walk their dogs and as a short cut from A to B. During school times it is used by students walking to and from the local high school. I regularly use it, as a short cut, to walk to visit an elderly friend. There are two areas with some play equipment but no toilets.

#GA5709 - 14:10; On a flying visit to Tassie on family business and took the chance to collect some of the local caches while I was passing through. Didn't realise this cache was on GCA until I downloaded the file from the GPSr! Another nice quick find and sign once I reached GZ. TFTC icybeetas

Caching in the area, and we found your cache along the way. Quick find, cache, and contents in good condition. Thanks, icybeetas.

We enjoyed our walk along the path to this hide. We had just grabbed the cache container from its hiding space when we noticed a woman watering the garden on the other side of the fence. We moved off so that we were out of sight behind the trees in order to sign the log sheet. We hen made our way over to the seat until watering was finished and the gardener had moved away.
Thanks for this cache Icybeetas. The container and contents were in good condition, the hint was useful and coordinates were good.

Hi icybeetas
Left home in Taranna yesterday for birthday celebrations of/with friends from Huonville
We enjoyed accommodation at the Silo (Thursday), Launceston Country Club (Friday) and Swansea Motel (Saturday & Sunday)
Returned home Monday, the round trip - travelled 626 km
Caches were found on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday
Your caches in this park were found on Friday morning
This one was logged at 0915 hours
No muggles here today; a good hide and enjoying my walk; people talking on the other side of the fence made me feel a bit vulnerable
Cache found and replaced without me being discovered
Thanks for the cache and the series
Cheers OldSaint

This one was super time consuming!!
There were a family of noisy muggles in the back yard right where I needed to search. With so many dry, crunchy leaves in the area every step I took sounded super loud. In the end I just hid under the trees hoping they would eventually go inside. They did but not until about 15 minutes had passed. Would have been more interesting if I could have eavesdropped on their conversation but whatever language they were speaking it certainly wasn't English!!
A quick find once I finally got to search.
Thanks ICYBEETAS.
