The easternmost place in Australia.
As the sun rises across Australia, Norfolk Island as an external territory of Australia with a longitude of almost 168°E, receives the first rays. This virtual cache takes you very nearly to the easternmost point in Australia - you can always trek further down onto the rocks along the coast here if you want to get a little further east, but for this cache, here is close enough.
To log this cache - post a photo of yourself or your GPS, with the views across the coastal rock formations to the south of this little lookout. Even better - make it a sunrise pic.....

we came out here today to start our journey to a very difficult GC cache and after returning to this spot took time out for a rest.
My mind was so set on completing all the GC caches here that I completely forgot about GCAs until today, my last full day on the island. This was found when I travelled back towards a GC's GZ that I had found in 2019. Thank goodness I didn't have to go nearly as far.

A fine day today, we headed out to the point to check out the view and take the necessary photo needed to log this cache. We had no intention of coming here for sunrise, that is for sleeping time, especially as we are on holiday.
