Description
This detour will take you to the North East Park free camping area. It may be done later from the park which is situated on the Tasman Highway. The park is suitable for tents, caravans and campervans. All sites are unpowered and available for use at no charge for up to 14 days.
The park has BBQ, toilet and coin-operated shower facilities as well as a Dump Point.

Ventured out to the NERT today in the great company of icybeetas.
It's been over 5 months now since completing the section up Billycock Hill.
No problems with the weather today, being quite sunny.
Set off from the lowest pt in the trail on Tonganah Rd.
All caches were easily found and all in top condition.
A bonus ftf here.
A big thank you to icybeetas for a tremendous series of caches along an iconic railway....thoroughly enjoyed...cheers ST.
