Description
The Shed with the Views
This cache is an easy one to find located at a spot that offers a different view of Lismore. I drove up here a few times to check how much water was in Lismore during the 2022 floods. Long grass and trees are starting to consume the views a bit, but it's a nice little spot all the same. A quaint little shed at GZ that offers a bit of protection for the box.
The cache contains a few swaps and should be a good one for the kids. Careful if there's long grass - never know where snakes can hide.

we have not been able to find this one while in the area so today we made the effort to detour here left trackable TFTC
I've been waiting for a nice sunset to enjoy this location. The word "views" made me think it would be worth holding out for. Yesterday was the first sunset I've seen in a couple of weeks. Not sure if it was just all the rain or if it was because my sister has been keeping me busy driving her around everywhere. Either way, the warm colours of the sun refracting off the stuff floating around in the air between here and there was at it again tonight and I wanted to see it from a different perspective.
I drove by GZ and up to the top of the hill looking for a good sunset vantage point, but it turned out near the shed was the best spot. I made a quick easy cache find and swag swap with a pathtag and macro macrame tortoise I made whilst waiting in a Krap place for my washing. I then sat and watched the sun set across the road, transforming the colours and shades of the hills in front of me, the magnificent mountains behind them, and the clouds above.
Thanks for the cool treasure - gold from the bronze treasure chest at golden hour.
A few pics attached.

I went for a drive this afternoon to visit The Shed With The Views. The day was 100% chance of rain but dry when I arrived. The One From the Heart Concert was on at the Showgrounds today. The sounds of electric guitars travelled up the hill. The shed is indeed very quaint and cache easy to find.
A quick reflection on the 2022 floods. I'm fortunate to live in a flood free location but I have been heavily involved in flood crisis and recovery for the last 10 weeks. My focus was one organisation and one town. I have been invited to attend a community award ceremony in Sydney next week. Black tie and on stage for a night then back to ongoing flood recovery.
Thanks for the cache MattyRx.

Whilst clearing out the shed I found a box full of dead batteries. I’m giving them away free of charge.
