Cache unfound for 180 days or more.
I realised lately that one of my more remote caches hadn't seen a find in over 3 years! It's not that far out... geocaching.com.au/cache/gcqpgj - Boring Cactus.
You can claim a single cache find on only one of the "unloved" locationlesses. I suggest the highest one, but it's up to you. Ie. You can find the locationlesses several times each, for several unloved caches, but only one locationless can be found for any one cache find.
You can't claim the same cache on any of the unloved caches locationlesses - one find, one claim. I suggest you claim the highest one, but it's up to you.
To complete this locationless, you can find any physical cache which has not had an internet logged find for 6 months/180 days. Dual listed caches which have been found on GC but not GCA do not count.
You cannot find your own cache. You cannot find a cache you've found before. If you find this cache with a mate, only one of you can claim the find. Argue it amongst yourselves.
You need to include:
- The GC/GA code and name of the cache you are logging.
- The actual date of the find - must be after the date this locationless is listed (22 Oct 2010)
- The date of the last find (or note it as an FTF)
- Why you think this one has gone so long.
- Coordinates as listed on cache page.
It would be nice if you included:
- A photograph of the cache and or location
- A little story about the hunt.
You can claim this more than once - after all, the intent is to make these unloved caches loved again!

We are surprised that GC998FA Shooters Haven hasn't been found since 13/6/2022 as it is on a busier road that the last few and much closer to Tamworth.

Another unloved cache on our drive between Nundle and Tamworth, we were forced to detour due to roadworks and headed along a back road where there were a number of caches, many not done for a while.

GC4RN5E Barrow Hut had not been found for 182 days when I found it today. Coordinates and hint were accurate but as this cache is about 8 km off the main road and on a road on the way to the top of a mountain only someone intent on locating the cache would find it. I was surveying the area for suitable locations to hide some caches when I made the effort to find it.

Near the edge of a cliff after a decent walk up the hill. The main path stops at a cemetery and a smaller path leads further up the hill to the cache. We had to push through a couple of massive stands of Lantana so this has probably detterwd a few people. Easy if somewhat sketchy find when at GZ.

I found the Traditional Cache GA4506 The Royal George Coach on 01/06/2021 and discovered its previous find was 15/09/2020.
Listed co-ordinates S41 52.691 E148 02.911 were accurate as was the hint. The GZ was beside a less travelled back country road so the cache was readily available but it was the only cache a long way from others so perhaps this is why it was unloved.. Other caches now in the area have led to 11 finds since my find.

I will go with a my 3rd longest unloved GCA physical find for this one, having already used the top two for the 2 and 1 year challenges.
I found GA0586 - Lieutenant Colonel George Barney on 13th January 2020, 333 days (11 months) after it was last found on 14 Feb 2019. Why a cache in the middle of possibly the most visited part of Sydney City could go unloved for so long is beyond me?

WE were hunting GCA trigs and and GC caches that were nearby today and we located a puzzle, GC4WH40 - New Years RESOLUTION, we solved about 5 years ago. It had not been found since 4/4/18. The coordinates are the original published coordinates for the puzzle.

Another cache that hasn't been found for a while as we travel to Perth and home again. This one is GA4788 Sistema Transporter, last found on 21 May 2018, and hidden on 11 July 2018, so just on 6 months since it was hidden and nearly 8 months since last found.

Visited Mt Tarrengower trig point cache TP0059, reported to be close to the geographic centre of Victoria, just outside of Maldon. Found on 5-1-2019 and it was last loved on 12-5-2018. I really enjoy trig caches and was delighted to give this one some attention after being off the grid for 6 months. While here also nailed a GCA History cache (GA12265 Tarrengower), an EarthCache (GC60VHJ Mt Tarrengower EarthCache) and a GC Traditional (GC3A99 Tower of Gower) - all of which were found without meeting a snake which was good as the searching party consisted of dad, mum, uncle, 16 yo, 9 yo and 7 yo.
Happy to be back logging this locationless after a couple of years of loving more loved caches.

Was 2TF on history cache GA12265 Tarrengower in central Victoria on 5-1-2019 and it was last (and first) loved on 12-5-2018 about 6 1/2 months ago. Gee the history caches with their Q&A function that produces a code word is really excellent. Learned lots about the geography (Earthcache here too) and history of this location.

WE were targeting a few GCA caches in the Mandurah area, south of Perth, and GA2151 10th Anniversary Cache was last found on 12/1/2018 and had a DNF on 8/7/2018, so it is 10 days short of being 12 months unfound.

We picked up a movable cache GA9654 "Celebrate Australia Day with Quality Streets" while on our way to Perth to visit family for Christmas on 20/12/18. The cache was last found on 28/10/17 but was hidden on 28/3/2018 so we are only claiming 6 months unfound not 12 months unfound.

Found ‘catch of the day’ GC11M1Z in the central highlands, Great Lakes area in Tasmania. Found 01/12/2018, previous finder was Perigrine on 01/04/2018. Cache not found too often as located in a lesser visited part of Tasmania well away from the main highways. Also, not a park and grab and invokes a fair hike uphill over rugged ground.. thanks..!!

While in Queanbeyan we decided to focus on GCA caches and a multi was included - GA11807 - The Old Queanbeyan Cemetery Multi, listed coords are S35° 20.644' E149° 14.053'. We found it on 9th Sept 2018 and the last time it was found was on 24th Feb 2018 so about 6.5 months ago.
It is probably not been found in over 6 months as it is a multi and a GCA cache, such a shame that more cachers do not do GCA caches. Many we talk to about GCA say "We don't do GCA caches", as though they are inferior, but we generally find them to be excellent caches.

I found Casey Stoner GA3827 on 22/8/2018 and it was last found on February 12th 2018 by polfil. It was well hidden and so this may be why it is unloved, as well as all the main geocaching Australia cachers have found this one.

We'll take the conservative middle ground as 338 unfound days.
The coordinates listed above are the posted coordinates.
Being such an old puzzle, the 2 mile distance did not apply.
This cache has only been logged as found 58 times in 4501 days.
That's a massive 12 years, 3 months, 27 days.

Must be my week for finding long lost caches. I suppose that’s what happens when you go a bit off the track caching and away from the main routes. This cache “ Between trees and a hard place “ GA8182 . It was last found on 17/10/17 by Sirius Tas and I found it on 20/6/18 which is eight months between fines. It is a tricky hide as the GPS jumps around because there are plenty of trees around GZ. It is in a lovely reserve but not highly populated. I was pleased to find this one as it had been on my list for awhile.

today I found ICEM Verse 6 Tulendeena GA4306 and it was last found on 21 October 2017 by gooseandegg . That is eight months unloved and that is because it is a little out of the way and the last time I was up this way I drove straight past as I suspect many others have as well. This cache is in a busy spot in Blaxland so I guess it is hard to do most of the time. We did it early one morning when no muggles were around. It has been found since our find.

This cache has been unloved from 15th May 2017 to 11th Jan 2017 (almost 8 months). Not sure why this has been not been found for so long, it was a fun puzzle to solve.

Found 'Cache Blindness #1' GC2HBT6 in Forth in northern Tasmania on 8/08/2017, previous finder was Arachnauts on 9/10/2016. Not found too often as perhaps some avoidance of puzzle caches (traditionals so much easier??).. thanks..!!

Yesterday I found mystery cache GC5Y3TD Grumbligrot puzzle 8 bonus cache in Georgetown. It was found last time on 1/10/2016 by lizziejj . I had completed the other caches in this series over a year ago but it's took me a couple of goes to find this final one!

Managed to claim 293 of unloved days on this cache. Coordinates are the posted coordinates as it is a Mystery cache. Well worth the visit and took us somewhere we hadn't known about before.

Montana GCPQ28. Found 13/02/2017, previous find 28/05/2016. A lovely little set of waterfalls located mid way between Deloraine and Chudleigh in northern Tasmania. Not found too often as its off the main tourist trails and requires a hike of around 1km thru the bush to get to.. thanks..!!

Found Middle Island Walk GA1457 on 23/12/16 and it was last found by eliycsha on 28/5/16. The reason why it has not been found more regularly is that it is an old cache - it was hidden In 2009 - and most catchers have already found it.

Found GA3295 Lovets Flats today on our search for a cache hidden in 2011 for the Summer Scavenger Series. Last find for this cache was by OldSaint on 10 January 2016 so just short of 1 year. It's on a fairly isolated dirt road that only had one section we needed the 4WD to get back out, thought it might have been worse! TFTC
GC1YV74, Tunnel Hill Road. Found 03/01/2017, previous find 15/05/2016. Located near Zeehan in western Tasmania. Not found too often as this a rugged mining area that few venture into. The area is bypassed by better roads which the multitudes travel in their eager quest for the next big adventure.. thanks..!!
