Description

This cache is located in a beautiful little park that has everything a traveller needs. We stopped here for lunch before continuing on the next leg of our 2022 trip in northern regions to avoid the Canberra winter. As Smittengranny is always complaining about the lack of multis in the outback I decided to make this one a simple multi with only one step and the final not far away. At the posted coordinates you will find a sculpture and its two plaques. By answering the questions below you will get the GZ coordinates. <p>

GCA multi caches are few and far between so when we spotted this one in Mitchell we had to stop and look for it. We had no trouble locating the data we needed to find the end point for this cache. A few quick calculations, a short walk and we soon had the cache container.

Thanks for this cache TG47. It was nice to be able to add another GA multi to our list of finds.

Why would I decide to do a multi with an almost flat phone... Confused

?? I'll tell you why. Because I forgot it was there when we were on a caching ride earlier and thought I was done for the day. Fortunately this was a quick, foolproof multi. A great location too. TFTM TG47.

Stayed in Chinchilla last Night and arrived in Mitchell this morning just as the heavens let out all the water. Got soaked. Took photo of plaques and retreated to the shelter of a shed then worked out the co ords and a quick find. TFTC TG47 Clan Minotaur

On my way out to QOGM 2022 at Charleville, I stopped in Mitchell for this multi. It turned out to be very simple, and easy.
I was especially impressed with the sculpture that inspired the cache.
