I have investigated this spot over two months when I have visited the island 9 times. The cache appears to be missing and believe me that I stuck my arm up a place I was not happy about and had a good feel around.

Tom & I are over in Perth staying with relatives for a few days so we’re doing a bit of caching too.
Today we were in Rottnest island 38c so I cached via the hop on hop off bus, too hot to get me on a bike.
Nice place for a cache, saw some familiar names in the log book.

While this cache may be awkward to retrieve when there are lots of muggles about, it is still possible to grab it and then go to a park bench to write in the log (just as I did), so yes the cache is still there and in good condition. Thanks to Threedees for a great entrance to Rotto.

This cache was still in place when I checked on it today.

So unlike what I had logged just before this one was unfound by me. No idea where it could be and the hint was no help to me. Whenever I'm back I'll give it another go

Geohubby and I are spending a day on the island while touring WA from our home state of SA.
The weather is glorious and our first impressions are surprise and delight at how spectacularly beautiful this place is. Very Happy
Many people came over on the early ferry with us, several with their bikes, and all look like they are in for a great day. I bet this place is absolutely pumpin' in summer.
We instantly met the world renowned indigenous wildlife and saw them throughout the day all round the island.
We took the island discovery bus tour with the drivers commentary and were amazed to see two submarines out at sea.
This was the first cache we looked for very briefly when we arrived but gave up quickly as there were many muggles aroung who had arrived on the ferry with us. We decided to leave this one and try again later in the day if we had time before returning on the ferry. We did have a few minutes at the end of the day but by then there was a ladder leaning against the nearby wall and a bloke standing on it doing something on the roof so we decided to give it a miss. Think Thanks anyway threedees Very Happy

Thanks for the cache.

I'm sleeping about 2m from this cache but it isn't helping me to locate it. The likely spot isn't one of my favorite spots to be inserting an appendage. Oh well. Maybe it will reveal itself to me later.

Just remembered we saw this cache awaiting a FTF as newbies.

At that time we really pictured the sentry in Uniform Wink , being patted down by cachers!

The image will be forever burned to our memories. Anxious

DancingDancing Woo Hoo, what a great hide.

We arrived on the island this afternoon with Everlasting. We had a lazy afternoon, settling into our accommodation, having lunch at the Bakery with the Quokkas and Peacock.

Then did some shopping at the store.

Finally almost set to go out and Mr Felix decided his bike needed some maintenance.

All sorted off we went and started our searching. Took a bit but soon enough Everlasting came up with the goods. The hint was extremely useful.

Between Everlasting and Mr Felix the cache was extracted and the log signed before we headed off to find the next.

Didn't find this micro, even with 20+ people looking with 5 GPSrs, We checked this place so thoroughly that we suspect a muggling but we can't be sure. TFTH (Thanks for the hunt) Salter Point Scouts

Not a DNF as such, but while trying to get some courage to put my hand where I didn't want to put it, a lady opened a window in the place beside me... Courage drained! Sick
