Business at the No.1's shop in Brighton taking advantage of MDO weekend to clean up some dots coincided with a drive over the hill vindicating some come backs and recce to some familiar areas. Hoping to stay off the busy main road and cache the Strath Taieri clearing another block of land performing a little CITO along the way for the blue bin.
Arrived at full carpark [3], both gates locked and still no stile. Helped a fat Sourmug over the gate when the poor bulldog couldn't fit under the fence!
Why it had to be the hottest day 34deg this season left the retinas frying and shade was quickly sought under the poplar hedgerow. With nothing planned for this side of the Taieri, a side trip just for this cache had no PQ loaded and just going by the hint, skirting odd tree falls over the fence, the black bison was soon in hand to sign the muggle sheet *FTF*. Still dry without a baggy several months later, I was surprised the micro hadn't been snaffled by the other GCA FTF hunter doing his geoart maintenance nearby. Was it the locked gates or tackling the tricky wire fence garroting their sensitive tackle. Not sure if the wire was 'hot' but us ladies managed the gate without too much trouble but old doggy lost some dignity. Returned to the wagon checking the P&G that morphed from a resin rock to a 200ml sistema retaining it's old hints. Thankyou for this easy FTF micro. Have another sticker for the fun.
