Description

The cache is not just a traditional but also a place to drop off moveable caches.

The cache will be de ja vu for some. Due to problems, the previous cache has been archived and now reinvented as a traditional. Moveable caches can be left or taken. Don't forget to sign the log of this cache, a sistema clearly marked, inside the larger container. And please don't remove it.

Barley Fields Road is a short section of the old New England Highway which was bypassed in the 1980's. Up until the construction of the New England Solar Farm east of Uralla in the last couple of years, this was a quiet country road. With the solar farm traffic using the road from the railway crossing to Big Ridge Road turnoff, be warned, it can be a busy road.

The cache is placed in a disused location on private property. There's no need to enter, the only access for the cache is from outside the fence. The owners are aware of it's placement. There's room for cars to pull off close by at the gate.

I came this way to find a couple of moveable caches. I knew where they'd be but I didn't know the pathway to it would be slashed for easy access, so I did the usual geocaching thing, trekking the hard way in and the easy way out. haha. I was also surprised to see there was a newer cache here that I hadn't logged as found. Bonus!

Cache found whilst on a slow trip from Home to see my sons and granddaughter on NSW Central Coast.
Cache found without difficulty, in the expected area.

found of sorts this morning. phone took me to a locked gate with bio security warning
saw a faint track but never lead to the prize so left ga12093 beside small tree. there is a gift from gca store in box.

Having been at SWR for a week went north to see Bellingen & Dorrigo then here. Beep phone wouldn't talk to me so drove up & down without success. Then it worked through the car only to discover a location I decided not to attempt with high grass affecting visibility. I'll hide the one I have elsewhere. Thanks.
