Description

There is a good chance you've heard the old Dad jokes about deers:

What do you call a deer with no eyes?

No idea.

Or

What you call a deer with no eyes that doesn't move?

Still no idea.

Anyway, if you want to see deer that have have eyes and do move, head out to find this cache...there's a whole paddock of them running around.    I spied them as I was looking around the area, and having a couple of caches with me, decided to place one here for others to come out and have a look.   It's your typical run of the mill paddock, just with deer rather then cows, sheep or horses.   It's a dirt road down to the cache, but you don't have to come too far off the main road.

Fourth finder of this one and it was interesting that of those 4 we are the third from Tasmania.
This is a trend we have noticed since our three weeks on the 'big island'.
There really doesn't seem to be much support in Victoria for GCA caching.
As we pulled up to this one Mr Beetle said, "Look at all those deer over there".
Then I told him the name of the cache!!
He's pretty much just my chauffeur now so has no idea what geocaches I have targeted.
This one was well hidden under the pine needles but the generous clue meant a quick find.
Thanks Sol De Lune.

A quick fine here today. So many deer across the fence. Small deer. Tall deer. Deer with antlers. It was quite charming to sit there and watch the deer and then go find a cache.
Thanks for this one today (3 new moveables have been hidden here as well, so go get them Smile)
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks for placing this geocache here for us to find today, for without those who like to hide geocaches, there would be nothing around for those who like to find geocaches.

We were going into Ballarat to look for a few GC virtual caches. We noticed that this newish cache wasn't too far away and appeared to be unfound. Ofcourse we had time to pay the hide a visit.

We had no trouble navigating our way to the area where the cache had been hidden. Our GPS led us straight to the cache that was safely tucked out of view. To our delight the logbook was blank giving us a {FTF} at 10:30.

Thanks for this cache Sol De Lune. Container and contents were in excellent condition. Noticed the high fences but failed to see any deer. Perhaps it was too cold this morning.
