Description

Driving along the Bruxner Highway in this vicinity you will find a couple of little pull over points where you can view Wellington Rocks/Wooolool Wooloolni (a huge balancing rock thing up high) and Waterfall Creek's water falling hard and fast down into the valley below. Here you'll find a different perspective including a lovely vista of two valleys, the before mentioned balancing rocks of Basket Swamp, and maybe you can wander down the track to the the pointy bit of the highway and watch water rushing over the large granite slope of the waterfall. This cache can be found around about where you might not want to drive beyond as the track is a little overgrown.

Enjoy the views and feel free to share any photos of your visit (without spoilers).

I was with the CO when this cache was placed, so I thought I wouldn't log it until someone else had the chance to claim FTF. We were out and about on a caching/trig hunting adventure in the Tenterfield area when this cache was placed. I didn't realise just how good the vantage point was in both directions - both over towards the nice property with the private waterfall and on the other side of the ridge too with its undulating valley and tree covered hills.

Great spot to stop and appreciate the little things. Including the bees that were busy working in their hives nearby.

Exploring the area in search of GCA caches and trigs today. Your cache was in our target area and one we found along the way.

Cache and contents were in excellent condition. *FTF* @ 16.00hrs

Many thanks for placing this cache and adding to our geocaching experience today.

In honour of the cache container donator:
The fact that the Australian Government describe their coat of arms with "The shield is held up by the native Australian animals the kangaroo and the emu", when an emu has no arms and can't hold anything up, I find roo-ly emu-sing.
