Logs
Ever since this series came out we’ve been keen to give these Witches Brew caches a go but first we had to get ourselves a new phone with NFC capability. (Yep… our mobile was that old. ) Anyway, we now have our new beaut fancy phone and today we headed to Mt Tamborine to give it a go.
We were pretty stunned to see the hundreds of fallen trees and devastation from the Christmas storm in the area but the roads were (mostly) open and we had no trouble getting to GZ. The lilies around here are very pretty at the moment.
The cache was easily located and a number for the Cauldron cache collected. Happy that our new phone worked a treat.
We see there is a note in the logbook from QNPWS asking to move this cache. (Pic attached.) A branch has fallen across the ‘Do Not Litter’ sign but the cache is untouched. Other than that all is good here.
Thanks MattyRx.

Expected a hard find due to no hint but unexpectedly found it with the hint from the others. did see a note by the wild life rangers saying it was litering. great place to stop and enjoy the view.

A planned visit to see GulliversTravels54 resulted in an unexpected cache hunt to Tamborine Mountain.
This was a new information gathering experience for us. Luckily Mr GT set us on the right track and after a couple of false starts we discovered what we needed and set off to our next cache.
Enjoyed the theme of these caches and the locations visited.
Joint *FTF* with GulliversTravels54.
Many thanks, MattyRX for placing these caches, we appreciate the time and effort gone into creating them
