Description

Victor Hotel Yankee

To find this vial, you'll be taken to Justins Lookout. Most people who drive to the mountain from Nerang will have just seen some amazing views of the entire Gold Coast before arriving at this small park. If you're on your way down the mountain, you will have seen views all the way to Brisbane just before reaching this place.

I imagine there were once great views from this park, however the trees have grown and are blocking them now. Still a great spot to stop and get some information about the area from the info board and pamphlets available right next to the cache.

This potion is hidden in plain sight. Please be discrete when removing it. The potion can be removed while it's holder stays in place. Two indentations at the top allow the potion to be lifted from where it rests.

Due to the shape of the vial, there's only room for the recipe book, pencil and small trinkets.

As you swig from the vial and add your incantation into the book, wave your NFC enabled mobile phone over the lid and with some deep pagan magic, you should be presented with a code that you can screenshot and save for later. Access to the the witches' cauldren on the mountain is restricted to those that unlock the secrets of the six potions.

Now that we know what we’re looking, for, this cache was quickly located even though it was covered by plants. Great coords - thanks.

What a surprise to find this log signed by so many people. They don’t log their finds so perhaps they aren’t even cachers.

And that’s all we have time for today and what a beaut day we’ve had. This series has taken us to some fantastic locations. We’ll have to grab the final next visit to the mountain.

Thank you MattyRx.

A planned visit to see GulliversTravels54 resulted in an unexpected cache hunt to Tamborine Mountain.

This was a new information gathering experience for us. Luckily Mr GT set us on the right track and after a couple of false starts we discovered what we needed and set off to our next cache.

Enjoyed the theme of these caches and the locations visited.

Joint *FTF* with GulliversTravels54.

Many thanks, MattyRX for placing these caches, we appreciate the time and effort gone into creating them ClappingClappingClapping

Employee of the month is a good example of how somebody can be both a winner and a loser at the same time.
