Logs

Found while on a trip down this way with Goose, even spotted OS and NE caches which was a bonus!

As our onslaught on the south begins, we started early from the north and made our way south for the day. Great day for caching in Tasmania.

Headed down the road to grab this one. Easy find to GZ. Once logged replaced back into its home and we were on to the next. TFTC Clan Cerberus

After a bright and early start to have an onslaught on some southern caches we left well before daylight negotiating the fog, icy conditions and the odd slow driver to make our way to sorell after grabbing some caches there we made our way down towards Port Arthur to find most of the caches in the area, the view from the Eaglehawk lookout was brilliant. Met up with Oldsaint near the golf course where he needed assistance to turn the hazards off on his Ranger. At the second last cache in the area we meet up with Goose and Stainless Steel Rat, after a catch up and discussing some caching we headed off for seven mile beach where we located all but one of the caches we had targeted in the area.
then continued onwards to Sanford to find the rest of Whitewebbs MMMM games caches and a few others that were close by. Needing to be in New Town at 5 to pick up a heater we stopped in at Rosny Hill to grab the caches there to fill in some time, all were located and solved. After loading the heater onto my ute we decided that was enough caching for the day and headed back north arriving home around 10pm.

Walked over to where the cache was hiding easily spotted but i was too short to reach it so Trimbletas had to retrieve it from its hiding location. Signed the log and took the photo. TFTC

There were rumours that height was required at GZ but a stick worked well for us. Once we spotted the cache, it was very obvious and we soon had it in our hands. Once completed we had a nice savory scone each made by Mrs SSR.
Thanks OldSaint

we played with the solution we had for this puzzle until we got a green tick. Today was the day to look for the container.

Although there had been some recent rain we were fortunate to find the area dry. Mrs y'stassie used her walking pole to retrieve the container and Mr y's tassie his basketball skills to manoeuver it back into place.

Thanks for this puzzle and hide Old Saint. Container and contents were in good condition.

I have solved this puzzle cache which is part of the MMMM Game in 2023. It took me ages to solve a fairly simple set of equations and I still am not sure exactly where I was going wrong but with a clearer mind and better concentration I eventually had the green light. Thanks for the game Geocaching Australia and the cache OldSaint. DancingDancingDancingClan CerberusClan CerberusClan Cerberus

I solved this puzzle for the Mid-Year Mystery Madness Months game.

I checked my math three times and kept getting the same result which the geochecker didn't like. However, when I made a logical correction of +1 to one of the calculations, I finally got the okay. Is it just me or is there an error here? Regardless, that's another one solved.
