Description
The Koala's Keep
Broadwater Koala Reserve is supported by Crown Lands NSW and run by local volunteers. It is a natural park that provides refuge for a wide variety of native animals and birds, often as they travel between larger parks in the area. A lovely spot to take a break from driving or spend some time in nature. Please exercise appropriate caution for visiting a piece of Australian bush. There are no facilities other than a picnic table. Maybe you'll get to see a Koala high up in the trees, however I've yet to spot one here.
The cache is hidden at the entry/parking area of the reserve. It's a magnetic thing that should make for an easy find. It's only small, so doesn't contain any swaps.

I couldn’t find this cache today. I found the sun though, I hadn’t seen her in a while..
I just don't get it how you can have 2 different thoughts at the same time that try to fight with each other and one wins while the other gets angry at the decision. I sure as hell don't need a partner to have arguments over decision making - I've got myself for that. Haha. The argument - food. Did I need it, no. Have I been doing a great job eating fairly healthy, yes. Was I excited to get home because a set of house keys were being handed over any moment, yes.
Then why would I take the long way home to stop by the bakery at Woodburn for a quiche and apple turnover? Life is too short to miss opportunities like that I guess. It could be shorter if I keep making unhealthy decisions like that though. Haha.
Whilst sitting on the jetty with my feet splashing in the water I figured that seeing as I'm off the M1, and already running late for home, another stop wouldn't hurt.
I didn't see any koalas here but I did see an Owlet watching me wander by, and a couple of drop bears. I named one Bob, because he looked like he'd done a poo, and the other Nicholas Ned. It was nice to get out and stretch the legs.
Thanks for the cache here.
