Description
Geoart Obsession Challenge
This is a challenge cache.
The geocache is hidden at the listed co-ordinates but you may not log it as Found until you have completed the associated challenge.
Your challenge is to find every contributing geocache in a GeoArt collection for 10 complete GeoArt collections within Australia before you can log this geocache as found.
When you believe you have met the challenge of finding every cache in 10 complete Geoart series, simply click or tap on the "Challenge Checker" link on the right hand side of the geocache listing page. This will check the challenge and if you are successful you will be presented with a codeword that you will need when you place your "Found It" log. The codewords are unique to each geocacher, so they cannot be shared amongst team mates or other teams.
The location i have chosen for the cache's location is somewhere through the middle of Tasmania as there are a good amount of Geoart series in both the North and the South of the state.
About the location:
The Central Highlands is a region in Tasmania, Australia where geographical and administrative boundaries closely coincide. It is also known as The Lake Country of Tasmania
The combined councils of the Central Highlands and the two Midlands councils - the southern and the northern have had for almost a decade a web based portal which combines the areas to a name of Tasmanian heartland. The Central Highlands Council has been organising the annual Bushfest which includes various outdoor activities such as fishing, camping, hunting and adventure sports. The event started in 2014 and witnesses a gathering of nearly 4000 people every year.
This area maybe inaccessable during the winter months when there is snow around if you dont have the appropriate vehicle or gear.
If attempting this cache in the snow you do so at your own risk. So make sure you check the forecast before heading off to find the cache.
If you’re spending a whole day here or staying overnight, it’s worth remembering that this is a very isolated part of Tasmania. There are limited options for buying food, you may want to bring in your own food and if necessary any medication or first aid supplies.

Thanks DEZ055
I qualified for the challenge.
Many tftc Dez055....much appreciated....cheers ST.
It was sunny but stiff breeze was decidedly chilly when we parked. We like this area and it was pleasing to see the progress the regrowth has made after the fires several years ago. Growth in this area is slow due to the regular low temperatures. It didn't take long to locate the well hidden cache container with some nice swaps. We are always pleased to see large containers in bush settings.
Thanks for this challenge cache DEZ055 and also for the very smart path tag. As the log was blank we will claim {FTF} at 15:35.
