Description
This is a Geocaching Australia challenge.
The Lucky 7 Challenge is based on Geocaching Australia's ICEM series - Lucky for the instigator of the song I've Been Everywhere Man, and 7 for the number of caches you need to qualify.
Your challenge is to find 7 ICEM caches from any state or territory in Australia with ICEM as a public tag. Excluded from the challenge are caches in the series you own as well as the following cache types - locationless, jigsaw, geocacher, ephermeral and trigpoint.
To see if you meet the requirements for the challenge, click on the "Challenge Checker" on the right hand side of the page. If you are successful and you've found the cache, you'll be given a code to add with your Found It log. Each code is unique.
The location:
Armidale Aboretum is a 16 hectare heritage listed park containing thousands of native and imported trees, walking tracks, lookout, picnic shelters, DIY waterfall, toilet block, childrens playground and the Aquatic and Sensory Gardens. And all from a site that was neglected until the mid 1960s. At the time it was proposed for rezoning for residential use which provoked a public outcry. Lack of funds, drought, eucalyptus dieback and unsuitable plant selections were setbacks for the newly established Abourteum but due to public support it flourished and has become a popular public space.
