Description
CEDUNA
Ceduna is a thriving seafood and oyster destination, and you can enjoy the stunning sunsets on the foreshore which has the benefit of the local hotel for dinner and drinks. In town check out Arts Ceduna and the Ceduna National Trust Museum, before heading out on the water. Fishing is plentiful, and nearby Davenport Creek (4WD required, or you can arrive by boat!!) is the perfect spot for a few days camping and catching a feed. Wittelbee Conservation Park and Laura Bay Conservation Park are great birdwatching locations, and also have bushwalks and sea views. Ceduna is also the tee-off point for the Nullarbor Links, the world’s longest golf course!
Ceduna is the last major town before the Nullarbor, and home to the famous Oysterfest (held every October) and a rich Indigenous culture. Set amid a patchwork of grain paddocks and bushland, sandy beaches and rugged cliffs, it has everything needed to make it your perfect holiday location. As the gateway to the Nullarbor, Ceduna has a fully serviced town centre which will provide everything you need to stock up, whether you’re arriving from the west without your fruits and vegetables or beginning the trek over.

I've Cached Everywhere, Man is the largest cache series hidden in Australia. It is made up of the locations made famous by Lucky Star in the song "I've been everywhere" in 1962, lyrics by Geoff Mack.
It would appear that "I haven't exactly been everywhere" and so verses 5, 6 and 7 have been added by hookline and Trigg-A-Nomics to cover Western Australia, South Australia, Northern Territory and Tasmania. The community's grateful thanks go to those geocachers for helping to cover most of the populated (and less populated) parts of Australia.
GCA Verse 7 by Trigg-A-Nomics
I've cached in Tarlee, Marree, Waikerie, Yongala,
Coobowie, Terowie, Nangwarry, Barmera,
Woomera, Virginia, Wudinna, Kyancutta
Alice Springs, Spalding, Iron Knob, Curramulka
Pine Creek, Leigh Creek, Tennant Creek, Oodnadatta
Taperoo, Jabiru, Buckleboo, Orroroo, Ceduna!
Well there are ICEM Caches everywhere except this spot which is where east meets west and west meets east. I stopping point on journeys in either direction.
I thought it fitting that there should be a ICEM cache here given the large volume of geocachers who have passed through Ceduna many times and for the new traveller like me.
You are looking for a medium sized cache in location at Port Thevernard where you can get great views of Ceduna.
Enjoy the views and what Ceduna has to offer.
