Replaced the container to a more waterproof container before we get hit with too much wet weather. The puzzle will remain dry now.
This gadget cache has sat in our "to do" pile for some time due to other commitments. Today we went to look for the cache. Accurate coordinates led to a quick find of the container and then the fun started. Having seen the puzzle pieces in the photo in the cache description, we came with a strategy. After a little trial and error, the eight pieces of the puzzle formed into the cube. The required photo, which includes our pathtag, is included with this log.
This is a testing puzzle. As we completed it, we wondered about how the pieces of the cube were created but as we progressively build the cube, we saw how a craftsman experienced in using a scroll saw (or similar) could take a cube of wood and create the puzzle - very ingenious.
Thanks DEZ055 for a challenging gadget cache. We hope that others have as much fun as we did putting the pieces together.

Well this one was a doozy. Knowing where the pieces actually went was the easy part.
Putting them all together is a different matter.
A nice peaceful spot to concentrate though.
Finally nailed the little blighter....a ripper puzzle and a favourite...photo added.
Many thanks for a great puzzle cache DEZO55....thoroughly enjoyed....cheers ST.
