Description
Finch's Road runs between Remembrance Drive (Ave of Honour) in the north, to the Glenelg Higway to the south. It is a good dirt road and this cache is on the section between Remberance Drive and Cuthberts Drive.
The hide looks over the paddocks with views out towards hills around Beaufort. Hopefully a simple find.

We arrived back in Ballarat this afternoon for the last few days of our road trip and this cache was on our hitlist, a quick find and we were surprised to find that the only three teams to find this cache are all from northwest Tassie! Thanks for the cache
After attending Ballarat's August Pub Lunch we decided to pick up a few targetted drive by caches as the wind was very strong and icy. As we pulled up we spotted the good sized container, still attached but blowing in the wind. After negotiating her way passed some particularly spikey gorse Mrs y'stassie battled the wind as she unscrewed the lid. She signed the log and replaced the lid and slid the container along the branch to a slightly more sheltered position. As we drove off we could see the container swinging in the wind not quite as violently as when we arrived.

After missing out on a FTF at another GCA cache this morning it was good to finally get one here.
With only one day to geocache in Ballarat I decided to mainly pick up GCA caches and if there was time left to do a couple of the many Adventure Labs in town.
This one was a bit lower than we were expecting but still a quick find.
