Description

Black Road Falls

There are a few nice spots along Terania Creek that are ideal for cooling off, and this is one of them. It's easily found and not far from the village of The Channon. The falls aren't huge, but tumble into a waterhole that's a great size for a swim. Plenty of spots to submerge yourself under the gushing water too for a refreshing pick-me-up. A small sandy/pebbly beach area is perfect for a picnic and has some shade throughout most of the day.

Best not to park on Black Road, unless you have a tiny car. Parking is better (only slightly) on Terania Creek Road. Walk down to GZ, where you’ll find the cache hidden only a few meters of the side of the road, in a less flood prone position. See the gallery for a spoiler pic if you want to get the formalities done quickly and get in the water for a dip.

The box is a small lock and lock with logbook, pencil and some swaps if you’re that way inclined.

A short drive down Terania Road and arrived at Black Road Falls. A nice little falls and place to visit. Found the cache with lots of swag for the kids. Sunset is coming and my day is done. Thanks for the cache MattyRx.

You take away the looks, money, intelligence, charm and success and, really, there's no real difference between me and George Clooney.
