Description
Follow the Shag Bay Track from Geilston Bay, past the old boiler, part of the remains of the old 'bone mill' that burnt down on 1915, up the next hill into the East Risdon State Reserve. There is a scattering of caches along the way including a couple of interesting ones up here.
There are interesting views of the Zink Works (Nyrstar) and Derwent River from here.

Good evening gooseandegg, thanks for the cache.
Was in the general vicinity today in the footsteps of Messers Burke and Wills, and DDTs, with a muggle mate, so couldn't resist this little zinc tin with nice views.
Highlights of the expedition included:
- a possum down a hole
- a camel
- some eucalyptus risdonii
- something interesting at SG-3's WP1
- old boilers
- caves
- Mona Roama ferry
- exquisite EZ views
- left over easter eggs (yum)
- wind chimes art installation
- takara limuna/Sheoak Walk.
A great walk, thanks for bringing us here.
Cheers, EPs

FTF @ 10.30am. A familiar walk and great views. You can even see our house from up here, beyond the industrial commotion below! An EZ find!
