We tried - really we did. The coordinates have you near a toilet block which didn't match the clue and was awash. We found some steps to nowhere near the carpark but we couldn't find him there either.
Maybe the previous hider can provide some more details

Noel had a day of 4X4 driving, animal spotting in the Gembrook State Forest and caching in the hills. So after an eventful day, we decided Noel might like to visit a higher elevation to rest near the trees! A beautiful walk is near this location and if you continue to the top amazing views!!! Well worth the visit!!!
What a beautiful little spot! We found Noel burried alive near the lake, so after a quick splash to get rid of the dirt we jumped in the car for an adventure filled day.
We were out for lunch nearby and decided to do a gnome swap at this spot. Noel has been hanging around town for a while, I thought he could do with a rest in the country before the busy Christmas season.
After missing out on a couple of gnomes by hours last weekend we wanted to grab this one when it showed up not too far from home. A quick find by geokid once we waited for a break in muggle traffic. TFTC. The kids have asked if we can keep him til Christmas but will move on soon.

The kids and I found this one on the way back home. We have visited this site before so we knew what sort of a structure was going to be found at this location. While I looked at the obvious spots my son went under the structure and yell out that he had found it. A nice cute little gnome he was too and nicely tucked away in his hiding home Thanks for the experience.
Moved this guy a little closer to the city, Good luck Noel on your journey
Found this little fella at Santas place probably relaxing till Christmas, not now grabbed him to move him on,it's still to far away to celebrate yet, nearly bumped into the electric fence while retrieving him, TFTG logged and will move on today.
No Noel at this location for us today. It's possible here's here but I didn't want to disturb the residents, so we called it quits before searching on the not-quite-right side of the fence.
found this gnome in a stable of hay, very christmasy. had a little chat with those who had him, thanks =)

He was so tired after all the racing around, so he is having a lie down! It looks as though the people who were supposed to be here have gone! But the landlord is till pretty hospitable and is letting him sleep, and would even offer a coffee to the 'friend' who comes to collect him. (Just come up stairs and see if he is in!)
Wow, what a character! Retrieved this morning in company with my geowife TrudyJane. We are thinking seriously about where to place Noel and will publish new coordinates and hints soon.

Beaten to the punch here, checked online before going to find the cache around the corner to see that we had already missed this one, we were planning to make him the last find of the day
Hiding so close to be I figured it needed to be invited to tea.
Will put him out ASAP. But I think my Kids/Scouts would like a look first next

Noel was picked up this afternoon.
I was going to take to QLD but he's a little to large for this.
So he can watch me fly.

Noel is now at the base of his very own chimney, perhaps waiting for local red-suited native fauna folk.
The co-ords might be a little off due to the trees, but the large chimney structure can be seen from many metres away

Noel has left the peaceful lake and is enroute to his next adventure!

Only a short move, but important to keep him moving. He's now hidden with one of my GC caches, a place familiar to many of the gnomes and their finders. Happy travels, Noel!
How could I resist, being so close to home? I dropped in this morning to pick up this one from a very familiar hiding place - thanks KoT! I'll move him on soon.

Dropped of Noel in a location well known to the local GCA community so hopefully he will not linger too long.
Picked up Noel from his bushy hiding place. Will move a bit closer to Melbourne hopefully tomorrow.

Noel has been moved to his new hide out. He is back in "open space" -perhaps a little more comfortable for the next to seek him out?
Noel is our first gnome find and also our first hide.

found this guy at the 1.1.11 event at the beach.. i think he was going to try to get a tan!.. so i left him at the beach as another cacher wanted to 'sunsceen him up' :O
Noel turned up at the Beach Dwellers event in Adelaide amongst a bunch of fellow travellers. After furious logging by many party's, left for the original travellers to carry on down the road (a fair way by the sounds of it). Have fun! TFTG

Well - that was nice! It wasn't at the coordinates posted (not sure what happened there)... But it WAS next door to my house! Now that's the way - if these blighters can't sit still, then I won't complain when they come to me!

Don't go for this. It is already picked up.
This used to be my billy cart hill.
A bit further along really - all the way down to Goyder Street really.
It was getting very dark as we made the hide so we bundled him in and you may need the clue.

A very Merry Xmas to all Gnomes. He has found himself a bush to hide in. I have placed a few gnomes along this road so park at one spot and go for a pleasant walk.
OI! Rbirtles! I resent you saying that Black Bunny goes shopping for gnomes with a shopping basket!! I mean, I know he DOES, I just don't want everyone else to know as well. He might be locked away or something.

Originally came to this area to get 2 Gnomes but ended up walking away with 5 after being sprung by the Black Bunny himself with a shopping basket of gnomes. Mr BB has been busy - well done! Will move this gnome further away on the north side.
Good to see a Merry Xmas Gnome out and about!

Noel The Gnome has moved to a lovely park close to Sydney a few days later then we had planned. However he did enjoy his stay and loved sitting watching us from our Christmas Tree. Thanks Noel enjoy your journey.
He should be easy to find 8 meters behind an inverted triangle!
