Description

This cache has been placed as part of the Cacheopoly games.

The historic Kangaroo Bluff Battery was first planned in 1836 but it took until 1880 before excavations commenced and was completed in 1884.

The Battery cost approximately $16,300 to build and the labourers received only .50 c per day.

An interesting site to visit. Gates open 9 - 5 pm.

Please watch out for muggles and bring your own pen.

We had some spare time in between family committments so decided to look for a few GA caches nearby. This was one of them. Mrs y'stassie was doing her usual lap of the hideWhen mrs y'stassie spotted the container. He needed the shorter team member to open the container and sign the log.

Thanks for the cache WhiteWebbs. All was in good condition and we enjoyed our visit to the battery as it has been a while since we were last here.

Paper was dry, but I found it difficult to put my mark on the paper. I got some semblance of it there tho!
