Description

Navigating to this spot you will arrive upon an old pumping station. It appears to be non functioning. Having old rusty exposed pipes leading to the waterline. however ther could be a bigger pipe still below the ground. Very interesting place to poke around near the water. COuld even be a good fishing spot. So take the rods and try your luck?

Bumped our way to GZ and once there the cache container was quickly located.
After a coldish day yesterday and a cool start this morning we were way overdressed in jeans and boots and the river here was just so beautiful that if it had been easily accessible I think I would have jumped in just to cool down.
Mr Beetle had been to this pump station before, but then I don't think there's a track in this area that he hasn't ridden his motorbike down.
The power box had new looking equipment in it so I wouldn't be surprised if it is not a functioning station still.
Another great 3D container.
Thanks Trimbletas.

This afternoon we headed out with the aim of finding GCA caches published in the last six weeks and were in the Railton and Beulah areas. This was one of the caches. Driving to this cache took us along some road we have not experienced before. There were good views along the Mersey River from near this cache. Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Trimbletas for the cache.

While I was hiding some caches I took the shortcut road to get here. Was a bit greasy in the mud but luckily it wasn’t too hard to get through. Arrives at gz and quickly found the cache. Signed and replaced then looked at the river. Will have to come for a fish. TFTC

To say I took the long way round to find the cache would be an understatement indeed.
On approaching gz could hear quite a humming noise.
Once at gz the 'old pump station' was definitely in action pumping water somewhere.
The cache was soon found for a bonus ftf.
A great spot on the river for a fish for sure.
Many tftc Trimbletas....much appreciated....thoroughly enjoyed...cheers ST.
