Description

A cache in an interesting green belt.

This green belt parkland separates the Eastlands Drive Industrial area from the nearby residential area. There are native tree plantings and an open drain. You may need to cross the drain to reach the cache depending on where you park. There is rarely much water in the drain but be wary of snakes. You are looking for a 1litre sistema.

After looking at the map trying to work out which caches to target we picked a handful that would help our claims in the Geosportz games.
We managed to hide some and find 2 before it got dark with the rest being found in the headtorch.

This was one that was found just as it was getting dark, once at GZ needed a light as it was dark in the tree line, cache was quickly spotted and log was signed TFTC

Purely a GA day today, and this is the first for the morning. A quick find of a well gamouflaged signature container from 2y'stassies. TFTC

Out and about on a sunny but quite windy afternoon, not many people around which gave us a good opportunity to search without looking too dodgy. Good coordinates and a useful hint really help the find. Thanks for the cache

On a bike ride in the area today to grab a few recently published caches.
Was pleased to find that we could access this area from the bike track which saved a ride around the nearby streets.
A fairly quick find once at GZ.
Thanks 2y'stassies.

The time has come,' the Walrus said, To talk of many things geocaching.

With a much cooler day it was out to gz where a well hidden cache was found with all in top nick. A blank log for a bonus ftf.

Great to see a greenbelt with many trees planted with the industrial area out of sight from the residential.

Many thanks 2y'stassies for placing caches for us Walrus's to enjoy....thoroughly enjoyed...cheers ST.
