Description

Welcome to the Tucki Tucki Nature Reserve. It is known to be a good spot for Koalas to hang out as there is a lot of good tucker for them to tuck into here. Why not stop and stretch the legs and have a wander around the short trail here. Look up to hunt for Koalas in the trees and look down to hunt for their scats as evidence they may be up there somewhere. Don't forget to look around for the caches hidden at this reserve. There is room to park here with a large vehicle or something in tow as it is drivethrough.

#1 is a D1 T1 cache located at the carpark area. Look for a wire to loosen and reveal the micro bison tube from it's neat little hidey hole. This can be a high passing muggle location so please try not to look too suspicious as cars pass. I simply paused and looked up into the trees as if watching a Koala every time a car passed. haha. Please be sure the bison tube is not visible when you replace it and secure the wire so it doesn't fall back out. Thanks.

Should there be roadworks in the area and the reserve appear closed, try after work hours when the carpark is accessible. Google maps said it was closed when these caches were hidden, but that is only becasue the carpark is being used by roadworkers.

Fun fact: Koala means "no drink" in the Dharug language. They get their fluids from the leaves they eat.
