Description
This tiny little gnome was an entrant in the GeGnome Project moving cache race. The gnome disappeared in early 2012, so it is now just a moveable gnano.
Is this the world's smallest garden gnome?
"Gnano Gnome" is attached to a button-sized nano container. It's magnetic, so look for something metallic when you are finding or hiding him!
This cache was an entrant in the GeGnome Project, a geocaching game that ran from 1 December 2010 until 31 January 2011. Full details of the GeGnome Project race can be found here. He remains in circulation now that the race has ended.
Your challenge is to locate this cache, collect it, run away, make your log and rehide it somewhere else, as far away as possible, and as quickly as possible. When you find it and move it along, please rehide it safely, but provide a detailed hint in your "moved" log so that he can easily found next time.
Please feel free to log this cache as often as you wish, as long as you are having fun finding and rehiding it. Of course, you should wait until one other person has hidden it before you can log it as a find again.
There are some simple guidelines:
- When you grab the cache please rehide it within 2 days to keep the cache moving.
- Please rehide the cache as far away from where you found it as possible. The further the better!
- Log your find at Geoaching Australia as soon as you can so others are not trying to find the cache you just moved.
- When logging your find at geocaching.com.au, please insert the co-ordinates in the coords box.
This allows the software to automatically update the new location.
Enter your co-ordinates in the format Sdd mm.mmm Eddd mm.mmm
You don't have to include the degrees or minutes symbols when entering updated co-ordinates but you should leave a space between the degrees and minutes.
Try a copy and paste of the example co-ordinates into the new co-ordinates box and type over them. - Wherever possible, try and keep to the difficulty / terrain rating as originally listed.
Of course the best fun about one of these caches is that you don't have to worry about being spotted retrieving the cache. Feel free to be as obvious as you need to be in order to claim it.

will move on soon
thanks
Our favourite geocaching park appears to have acquired a cluster of 9 GCA movable caches, all close together, so today, geodaughter and I set out to find them. Unfortunately, this was one of two we did not find.
So, either it's missing, collected by another cacher, or we are too inept to find it. The latter seems unlikely given the hint however. Perhaps the last hider might provide an explicit location?
Anyway, thanks pwags.
TNLNSL. Thanks pwags.
Travel far little Gnome .
I searched high and I searched low but Gnome part of Gnano Gnome seems to have disappeared. All I was able to find was the Gnano part (with log) and a perished and broken O-ring.
let me know what you want me to do next pwags.
1332Km from home.
After a morning of aircraft engineering and design presentations I needed a break so headed off to put a few more caches into the tank of the Roaring Ford.
Walked to the nearby GC.Com cache to find a muggle having lunch on the GZ, wandered up the road and found this little guy hanging about.
TNLNSL
Thanks for the cache.

I was very thankful to see him exactly where I left him last week. I'm sorry TaylorBrats that your search was unsuccessful, maybe he's harder to see in the dark, but he is safe and sound.
Another time perhaps...
After an eventful couple of days at the Facit house, including being lost for a few hours and causing an all out micro-search of the whole house, I was able to re hide this tiny gnome this morning. Quite a few people floating around this location this week with joggers and rowers about.
After dining at the Grand-Facits s-facit and I made a quick detour to a location that I'm sure I remember.... could be because I hid a gnome here a couple of days ago
Arrived near GZ and was mainly concerned that we might attract Security attention being late at night but s-facit and I were able to happily approach GZ, find the gnome and exit without incident. Security probably were a bit confused by the sounds of 'It's so cute, it's so cute, it's so cute' wafting through the night air.... yes, s-facit thinks this gnome is cute!
Thanks pwags for another interesting gnome entry
I hope that his travels around the world have placed him in good stead for the distance challenge of the race.
This was after a day delay in New York with Kennedy airport snowed in and the caughtatwork family having to stay one additional night, then get on a standby flight (we were the last 4 standby passengers on the flight) to Salt Lake City, then another flight across to Las Vegas.
Now that's a story that will become more palatable with time, but at the moment, very, very stressful.
Gnano is safe and will be back in California shortly before heading home to Australia in a week or so.
I'm really, really going to try and remember to get some pics this time.
The km are really clicking up for this little guy now.
I knew there could be benefits having such a small cache in the race. But will he return? Will I ever see him again?
EDIT: Nope, Firesafe Hoe is in the lead, coming from SA originally. This will be interesting to watch.
A lack of time of co-ordination with too much jet lag and too many freakin' suitcases means there aren't any photo's just at the moment, but there will be.
The question is did Gnano beat Hoe in the distance stakes? One click of the log button will tell.
He's now in GabGab's hands, so don't bother flying over to find him. I'm sure he will be moving around in the next week or so.
Don't go looking for Gnano, he's with me and may not be back in Australian findable action for a while
Nice storm passing of Laverton in the photo
He is a height deprived fella.
Found at 03:15pm
Good luck Gnano Gnome
As I pulled up to gz I looked around at all the likely hides that were giving me absolutely nothing.
MMM paid to read the hint and I crossed the road and snatched this little Gnano.
Co-ords might be a bit sketchy but check the hint and you'll be fine.

*** First to Find ***
FTF #1 of 8 this morning! I had a siesta in the afternoon to be prepared for our night run this morning. Things were pretty quiet as we whipped around the suburbs, picking up all the First to Find honours we could be bothered going for. This was a quick find by TLR and we were quickly on our way to the next gnome patch of the night. Thanks pwags!
