Description
Welcome to the 9th GCA cache by “Keeper of Time”. One of 3 gnomes entered into Cachinggames GeGnome Project.
But soft, what light through yonder window breaks?
It is the east, and Juliet is the sun.
This is Gnomeo, illicit love of Juliette. Parting is such sweet sorrow .... will they ever meet again, only time will tell.
Please move Gnomeo on as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, this geocache appears to be MIA so to stop it clogging the search lists we'll archive it. This is done to keep the Geocaching Australia clean and up to date.

I’ve looked a few times for this fella, it appears that he is missing in action, no where to be found.
Just wonder if its still there, as beside a waljing track.

Gnomeo had his travel plans go askew, so now he is looking out to sea wondering where everything went wrong. Obscured a bit by a bush but facing out to sea.
After a rather lonely sojourn at the beach with only one solitary visitor in 17 months, poor Gnomeo has had enough. He's seen all the young gnomes having fun GeGnoming about whilst he's stuck by himself in a gnome free territory. So he's stalked off to try & find a few friends in more settled parts. He then got chased by a dog that was bigger than he was & had to hide in the long grass. Whilst spying on some BMX bandits he dozed off & is now once again face down in the dirt.
A 10 day trip to Tasmania with a lot more caching then initially expected, but I enjoyed every minute of it! This was one of the many caches I found and enjoyed. Can't wait to get back here and do it all over again, there are so many great places in Tasmania.

Gnomeo is enjoying a spell at his beach shack. Not quite the best real estate around but all the best spots had been grabbed by non-gnomes long ago. In fact, although the view is pretty good a little further up, poor Gnomeo has had to slam the door shut to deter peeping toms.
Our first moveable - & what a cute little guy he is. Finally, I've discovered gnomes really do have a purpose in life. Even though he'd spent the last 3 1/2 months staring at the same trees, he still had a smile on his face, but he grabbed hold of me & wouldn't let go - all the way down that scary hill. Might have to give him a sea change (with a view of course). That's if I can keep his nose out of the rubbish & the pubs that is.

Busted by my daughter. Caught procrastinating about getting a gnome out there. Gnomeo is now back out there. Each time I hide this gnome, I choose a nice spot with a view. Each time I find him, he's face down in a pile of rubbish.
I'm not sure if he's unfortunate in his acquaintances or if likes it that way but this time I've chosen him a spot that's hopefully free from temptation. True, the Signal Station Tavern is not that far away horizontally but it's 300m away vertically and it's trees, rocks and precipices all the way.
He's nestled at the base of a gum tree, gazing out across the valley. Here he can meditate the error of his ways and the next time I find him, I hope to meet a reformed character.

Discovered in nutwoods office. He's been washed and scrubbed up. Why hasn't he been hidden.

Well met Gnomeo! Well, once again I meet this Gnome. Shades of our first meeting when he was lying sad and forlorn near a Melbourne highway, now he was lying sad and forlorn near a Hobart highway.
Well hidden under a stump and covered in bricks the only romance he was likely to get involved the flock of chooks that appear to inhabit the area. Unfortunately it appeared to be a rooster dumping spot!
He's in need of a good wash and a brush up but otherwise appears to be in good shape.

Rehidden, he had moved but not logged as a move, as picked him up from a recent event .
Rescued Gnomeo from an event, he was having too much of a good time. Will move on soon

We've moved Gnomeo right back to the spot we first hid him in. Mild conditions, pleasant surrounds. He can't do better until someone moves him on.
Well, we meet again! Last time we met it was a sad and forlorn gnome, face down in the undergrowth, near a Melbourne on-ramp. Now we encounter a bright and perky gnome attempting to get a vegie garden growing near Lake Sorrell.
We convinced him that his attempts were doomed to failure and offered a lift to lower altitudes.

Gnomeo is just friends with "Just friends" (GA 4014) next to a playground in the sub alpine lakes area of Tasmania. The playground is rarely visited, the campsite is rarely used despite the area being very pretty ....and cold. Oh Gnomeo your love is even colder.
Gnomeo, gnomeo our love grows gold. It sure is as the little gnome is off to the alpine like location of Interlaken after a cosy time on the coast with a number of frogs.
Found him all tucked up and hiding in the park...all is well and now on his way...TFTC...Cheers.

This is the first time that I've met this stout little fellow. Thanks for the gnome!

Saw this little man in Launceston, and here he was again on the table during the "Butterfly Lady & Radionut50: Tassie Eventing Take 2" event at Hobart, so had to log him.
Retrieved this moveable from the event welcoming radio nut 50 and butterfly lady to Launceston. Thank you to 2ystassies for bringing them to the event.
I will move on down south

No better occasion than an event to release Gnomeo back into circulation to continue the tour of Tassie - picked up straight away.
After staying in Launceston for the night for a family celebration, we had a look on-line this morning before heading off to Hobart for the day. We noticed that Gnomeo was out and about again. So, an early morning raid was made and we found Gnomeo tucked up in a good hiding spot. We will let him warm up ain and then put him out on the road again. TFTC
Enough lounging by the heater.............back out again
A new gnome to find and find we did. What a colorful chap he certainly will be popular among the gnomettes. Thanks for getting us out and about, we found him in the dark by torchlight. TFTF

Gnomeo is back out. Lock up your daughters, Little Folk of Tasmania. .
He arrived on these shores feeling somewhat faded but Gnomeo has brightened up after undergoing a gnomeover(see gallery).
He is no longer exclusively a blue gnome, so watch out gnomettes of any colour. He's out there, complete with hoe and bunch of vegetables.

The smaller half of nutwood has pointed out that Gnomeo has little hope of finding a Tasmanian Juliet in his present faded state. She has offered to re-paint him in order to improve his chances.
Would you like this to happen or should we release him as nature has rendered him?

Grabbed on a flying visit to Melbourne to visit a trade show.
Had two frogs in the bag and thought there was no time for any more but I caught the City Circle tram back to Spencer St for the Sky Bus. Didn't realise it looped up past Harbour City. Quick check of the GPS and there was Gnomeo, 600m off. Leaped off the tram and dashed off to snaffle him.
Oh no, a concrete gnome . Never mind, snaffled he was and off to the airport. 9.6 kg in the carry on bag just scraped in under the allowance.
Best part was, I got pulled up at security as one of the bags I'd got at the trade show had a wee screwdriver in it. Of course, I didn't know where or what it was so we had to pull everything out. I explained that I always travelled with two large green frogs and a concrete gnome for company but I'm not sure I was believed!
He'll be released in Tasmania as soon as I get bail.

I was out and about the other night and noticed that this little critter was still in my GPSr. But I was sure that I had done this with jsmyong55 and the Physics Teacher on a caching run through the area. Upon checking the cache page this morning I realised that this was one cache I did not log the day after the run. I suspect it's because it was a GA cache not a GC cache. Anyway it took a minute of searching to find this little one hiding in the bushes. We signed the log and moved on. Thanks T K O T.
Out on our usual caching run with Trailrunning on Monday nights and today we were joined by The Physics Teacher to continue where we left off the last time at Altona. We headed west all the way to the edge of Weribbee caches and turned back and did the many caches back along the way to the city. We then headed to the city to get those done as Trailrunning and The Physics Teacher had not had those done yet but I have. On the way back, we tried to get a few more for The Physics Teacher to reach his 300 mark but we did not manage to. We brought him very close to his mark though.
We found gnomeo. It was The Physics Teacher's first Gnome cache. Did not move it, just logged it only. TFTC

Dropped at a point that I ride past on my commute to the city. Easy to find from the path.
**PLEASE DON'T ATTEMPT FROM THE FREE-WAY OR RAMPS - BLOODY DANGEROUS AND STUPID**
The path is one of the wests main commute routes, so a bike is great or a short walk from the carparking areas across the water. Even stop on the weekend and have an ice skate in the new rink.

Batgnome is now at the usual drop off place for gnomes in the west. He'll be there from 4:30pm as we head off to the in-laws for the afternoon, so don't search before then.
I found this cache is Daddy's boot

We found Gnomeo after he'd been hiding here for a few months.
He was all well, a tad dirty, but a dry log book.
We have made out note in the book, admired Gnomeo for a few minutes before showving him in the boot to transport back towards Melbourne where he may get a few more moves.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks Keeper of Time for joining in the race. Pity I wasn't able to grab him during the two months, but now I have and we're all very pleased with ourselves.

After spending the evening cycling around the point with Ikkibrady nad walenators we returned to the car park to find that security had been employed in our absence. There was Gnomeo, looking all nice in his white outfit. Personally I think he should stick to looking for Gnuilet as he didn't say a word to us when we approached him and removed his scroll from what I am sure is an uncomfortable hiding place.
Thanks for the gnome!

Sorry Gnomeo you only got 1 day out of a metal surround.
231. Had some "driver" right up my rear end so I was glad I could pull off to grab this cache on the (very round about) way home. A quick find but felt very exposed inserting one gnome and extracting another in view peak half hour traffic. I guess I could have worn clothes. Which reminds me - nothing is worn under the kilt, it's all in perfect working order.

Canberra gnomes kidnapped by the GGG, with the aide of of a forward observer stationed at Oberon (Heave-Ho) formed the Gnome Liberation Front, and convinced a cadre of gnomes currently resident in the Blue Mountains environment, that their services were required in the ACT.
This led to a call being placed by the GLF for a mass extraction of the gnomes and various pickup points were organized by Mr Roo, Just a Cacher & I. The gnomes had a long march from their various Lithgow detention points and a few gnomes were left in the region to gather intelligence in case of a need for future pickups.
Look for these gnomes to start appearing in Federal relief agencies as experts on the Flood recovery and Carbon Tax programs.

Black Bunny, Mr_Roo and I went on a road trip to rescue some poor, imprisoned gnomes from Lithgow. To make the trip a bit more consistently busy, we found a few other caches on the way (and on the way home, too!).
We have more gnomes than everything else put together now, and Black Bunny's shopping basket just disappeared under the mass of partying gnomes - and they're NOISY!

Checked up on old friend Gnomeo while pursuing a nearby non-gnome moveable!
He was so absorbed in his current studies and contemplations that I decided to sign his log and leave him in peace, in the quiet wetlands, without moving him.

Gnomeo was looking for peace and quiet to write some poetry to his lady love, and the best we could find was the Lake Pillans Wetland in Lithgow, this quiet spot pleased him and he found inspiration straight away. He has now retreated under a big rock to work.
Gnomeo did not give in without a fight after hearing about Gnome-Mare's capture he his himself so well I had to go back and ask the last hider for some hints (thank you for the extra info). Armed with new insight, Gnomeo was quickly discovered cowering behind a grassy bush and gnapped on behalf of the GGG (Gnome Gnapping Gang).

the second of the gnomes that followed us home from the event in home bush bay.
Gnomeo has been alot of fun to have around for the last couple of days but it was time for him to move on.
We found him a nice shady place where he should be safe from muggles untill he is picked up by a new friend and taken on his next adventure.

Looks like a couple of gnomes may have followed us home and there locations will be updated soon.

Yes, I found Gnomeo again -- this time at the The Gegnome Project-Post Gnome Get Together at Homebush Bay! He's an old friend now . . .
Today romantic Gnomeo was one of an amazing variety of 42 gnomes in attendance at Wentworth Commons in Sydney's Olympic Park -- and a few gnome-mad geocachers attended as well . . . The scorching 41 degree temperatures didn't dent our enthusiasm.
Congratulations to all those battle-hardened gnomes who survived the rigours of the recent competition and our condolences to the owners of those who suffered injuries and/damage or who were finally declared 'missing in action' . . .
Now Gnomeo can now take a very well-deserved break, doing whatever it is that romantic gnomes do when they take well-deserved break . . . I can pretty well guess.

Found among the 41 other Gnomes at 'The GeGnome Project - Post Gnome Get Together!' A great time was had by all, even the Gnomes and they spent their time having logs and other things pushed up their nether regions at least for most of them. A great way to see Gnomes that I would not have been able to get to otherwise.

Well what a party that was! There were way more gnomes (42!!!) than cachers (maybe 10 teams, about 20 people) and things almost got out of hand Luckily some of the gnomes who attended were able to keep a bit of control - Bruce the Gninja, GeoPirate, Gno-mad, Gnome-Mare and Geolady were big enough and tough enough to exert some authority.
We held a ballot to see who would go home in which car and Gnomeo agreed to take amyjanemay. I think he rather thought they could go out tonight and paint the town together

I went out on to the front balcony tonight to look for a cat and found 5 gnomes lined up that I didn't expect to be there. Where the heck did they come from? One last find for the race, and no with 15 minutes to go I am not moving them again

Dropped off at a classy place in Rydalmere. All the gnomes had heard that there was a post-race party on the weekend and wanted to be sure to be in a spot where there was a guaranteed lift to get there
I arrived at work to find I was required to act as a tour guide for the day and keep a noisy rabble of 10 gnomes occupied! Thank goodness it's a beautiful day and I can send them outside to play for a while
An extremely early morning trip to the city to drop the gnome delegation off to blossom* for their day's tour. The security guy was a bit non-plussed at my explanation of why there were 11 gnomes in the front garden of the telephone exchange but he has met blossom* and, once I told him she was involved, no more explanation seemed to be needed
Another gnome who joined the delegation waiting here when I arrived this morning, demanding that they be taken all over Sydney becasue they wanted to get in as many tourist stops as possible before the end of the race.
