Description
This is one of my entries into the GeGnome project. Mr Bump was going to be GeoGraduate (GA2782) until he kind of broke himself. So, with the remains of him, i made a new gnome..Mr Bump!
Your challenge is to locate this gnome, collect it, take it away, sign the log and re-hide it in a different location, taking note of the new co-ordinates. Then you log the details in 2 simple steps:
First Step: Log your find with a 'Found' log - this will give you your smiley!
Second Step: Log the move with a new 'Moved' log, adding the new co-ordinates as well as something useful in the hint box. This will update the main co-ordinates and the hint for the cache listing so that it will update in GSAK and the like.
One of the best parts about these moving gnomes/caches is that you don't have to worry about being spotted retrieving the cache. Enjoy being as obvious as you like in order to grab it. Then run away as fast as you can.
The rules are simple:
- You can "find" this gnome as many times as you like (the more the merrier!) as long as the last move was by someone else
- A move should be completed and logged with new coordinates and a hint within 2 days please
The main idea is to keep the cache moving along so please hide it in a terrain and difficulty level that will keep it easily found. Don't forget you can find and move this cache as many times as you like!
When you hide it somewhere new, please add a good hint to help other seekers find it.
Photos of the gnome are strongly encouraged, i'd love to know what he's up to! :)

Logs
We were out and about today and saw that there were a couple of GA movable caches nearby. We were going to take them home to Western Australia with us but they were not there.
I've always wondered whether the newbie that hid this gnome had the right location, so today whilst passing, and with time on my hands I decided to go exploring.
Found Mr Bump covered in cobwebs but alive and happy having had StiGnome http://geocaching.com.au/cache/ga1989 as a companion for past 16months. I guess they have built quite a rapport together seeing the seasons change and watching many muggles, and the odd geocacher walk across the boards above them. I guess if they had internet access they could've corrected their location as it was out by 40m.
Oh well, they are now resting up on my front verandah until I find a nice new spot for them both - it'd seem a shame to send them off on separate travels now.
I guess all that is left now is for Mr Bump to be unarchived

Would've thought a pair of gnomes would've been easy to spot.
Hopefully they are either already picked up, or I'm blind

Found this one on a table full of gnomes and frogs at the Adelaide Pub Lunch event.
What a collection of movables we had today and great to see a few gnome types amongst the throng! Happy journeys and hope to see you again around SA!

Nice to see this little cache lasting beyond the gnome race, many have not been so lucky. Found this little guy on a table of frogs and gnomes on a lovely caching lunch. BlackBunny had quite a few of these little critters in his swag.

Jumped up North - ready to be found again...
GCA 485 - 4915. I was a bit worried when I read I was looking for a blue body bag - I was wondering what else Gigglygecko Clan had hidden here !!
All good though - just Mr Bump waiting for me.
I grabbed him to move him on since he has been here since October.

In the trees near our new home, check out the Pygmy huts nearby - so cute!
A nice evening walk resulted in finding this gnome so we will drop off on the way home.

Dropped him in to a convenient hole while going to get Macarthur.
Mr Bump has finally been located in a packing box from our move. I'll place him in Newcastle next time I'm in town.
Found that we forgot to log this one after the event. We'll get it out ASAP.
Had a watch on this one and was hoping he would be close for me to grab at some stage. Then last night he was at our awards event, so it was nice easy find. Always happy with that.

One of several found at the event tonight. It's very nice when the gnomes come to us, instead of having to chase them around. I like the outfit on this one TFTG!
Found at last nights event, fortunately I managed not to drop this one (unlike poor Nomadic Austracker)!
Interesting to see Mr Bump is outfitted similarly to Mummy Im Gnome. Cool, thanks.

ok buddy, you've been hanging around for way too long!
(I may of even mistaken him for a normal house garden gnome the other day! Surely a sign!)
I'm sure a good meal could do some good..

Someone's looking a little more like the fictional character from the books now!
So, after being alerted to the fact that there'd be a gnomey suprise when i got home, i pratically jumped out of the car, ran up to Mr Bump, and gave him a huge hug.
I'm so happy that he's out of the GGG.
Ok, a little dubious that he's now in the GLF.
But i'm just happy to have him back where he started from.

YES! Gnomey suprise when i get home!
(I really shouldnt check my emails at work, then it could of been a real suprise!)

2 Canberra gnomes kidnapped by the GGG (GNOME-MARE!!! & Mr Bump), with the aide of of a forward observer stationed at Oberon (Heave-Ho) formed the Gnome Liberation Front, and convinced a cadre of gnomes currently resident in the Blue Mountains environment, that their services were required in the ACT.
This led to a call being placed by the GLF for a mass extraction of the gnomes and various pickup points were organized. The gnomes had a long march from their various Lithgow detention points and a few gnomes were left in the region to gather intelligence in case of a need for future pickups.
Look for these gnomes to start appearing in Federal relief agencies as experts on the Flood recovery and CRPS programs.

Black Bunny, Mr_Roo and I went on a road trip to rescue some poor, imprisoned gnomes from Lithgow. To make the trip a bit more consistently busy, we found a few other caches on the way (and on the way home, too!).
We are now starting to have gnomes tucked in here, and gnomes popped in there - just as well Vicky is a large vehicle.

'Mr Bump' needed to be alone, too much rough handling by his Gnome mates. He found the right spot under a bush where he is laying down sleeping. Just don't wake him up too suddenly, he has a weak heart!
Mr Bump has been gnabbed and is on the move, who knows where he will end up only the GGG (Gnome Gnapping Gang) knows!

Mr Bump joined GeoPirate on a 'Journey to the West' -- ultimate destination unknown!
Found Mr Bump yet again! Who would have thought that he would turn up at Wentworth Falls!
Rated: for Overall Experience
My little friend 'Mr Bump' has now been dropped at Wentworth Falls where I am sure a keen local Gnome gnapper will take charge of him without delay. These Gnomes have such a hard life, being stuck in shopping bag for long train trips and then passed on to someone else without a by your leave.
I have had my eye on this Gnome and another 2 for some time now, but "The best laid plans of Gnomes and Men...' It was not until today that I was able to make the long trip to Watson's Bay and retrieve the 3 Gnomes there that were enjoying life a bit too much, high time they started earning their keep and got on the move.
All 3 of them will be moved very, very soon.

After taking a well earned rest for a week post race it was time to get these guys back on the road again. A nice trip to Watsons Bay was in order where he and Geopirate got out to go and hide under a fig tree. I couldn't get a good sat reading there so had to take it from the middle of the park and extrapolate using satellite maps.
Another great event today. On a stinking hot day in homebush oveer 40 gnomes showed up and looked to be having a great time especially this little guy. Oh yeah there where some fun people there aswell.
Looks like a couple of gnomes may have followed us home and there locations will be updated soon.
Thankyou to the organisers and who ever gave this little guy a lift. Looking forward to the next event.

Attending the post race gnome party at Homebush this was one of MANY new to us gnomes we found on the table. Medlow Bath was too far for us to go last night so am glad Roger made the extra effort to get him to the party. tftg
I missed Mr Bump last night in a Hazelbrook car park, but ran into him again at the The Gegnome Project-Post Gnome Get Together at Homebush Bay!
Here he was one of an amazing variety of 42 feisty and downright naughty gnomes in attendance on the day, at Wentworth Commons -- and a few gnome-mad geocachers attended as well . . . The scorching 41 degree temperatures didn't dent our enthusiasm.
Congratulations to all those battle-hardened gnomes like Mr Bump who survived the rigours of the recent competition and our condolences to the owners of those who suffered injuries and/damage or who were finally declared 'missing in action' . . .
Mr Bump can now take a very well-deserved break, doing whatever it is that gnomes do when they take well-deserved break . .

Found among the 41 other Gnomes at 'The GeGnome Project - Post Gnome Get Together!' A great time was had by all, even the Gnomes and they spent their time having logs and other things pushed up their nether regions at least for most of them. A great way to see Gnomes that I would not have been able to get to otherwise.
Another gnome I didn't get during the race, so good to get him at the post race event today. He has come home to rest out of the heat for a couple of days until it cools down.
Well what a party that was! There were way more gnomes (42!!!) than cachers (maybe 10 teams, about 20 people) and things almost got out of hand Luckily some of the gnomes who attended were able to keep a bit of control - Bruce the Gninja, GeoPirate, Gno-mad, Gnome-Mare and Geolady were big enough and tough enough to exert some authority.
We held a ballot to see who would go home in which car and Mr Bump agreed to take richary (I suspect becasue he's taken a shine to Anna )

Mr Bump will be at the GeGnome Project - Post Gnome Get Together! So many Gnomes and so little time to log them all.
Mr Bump has had enough of being by himself, he wants to see some other Gnomes, so he is on is way to the great Gnome round up!
I am sure he has never seen so many Gnomes together before.

Moved down to the cooler climate at Medlow Bath.
Still all bandaged up, but in good spirits, Mr. Bump is awaiting the final day of the great gnome comp in beautiful Leura, not far from the railway tracks, at the top of Grose Street.
He'd like a cappuccino, if you have the time after picking him up, but will have to drink it through a straw!
Good luck, Mr. Bump! It was nice gknowing you . . .

'Things that go bump in the night' may refer to this old friend of mine.
Or was he an extra in the movie 'The Curse of the Mummy' in 1959?
Anyhow, he appeared suddenly in Katoomba and needed attention. And I couldn't refuse.
He's hung around with little Risque in the past and the two will be keeping each other company tonight in my garage -- awaiting 're-assignment' tomorrow!

Mr Bump is now resting from his travels in this nice little park, Kingsford Smith Memorial park in Katoomba. He found the biggest pine tree very near the start of the last few steps on the path. Look for him under twigs and mulch (to keep him warm!) in the centre of the tree about waist high.
Another victim of my Gnome raid, he is now in the mountains and will be relocated tomorrow. For such an invalid he sure gets around quite well!

As we stopped to grab another gnome, Mr Bump decided he liked the view here and would stay awhile. He went and hid under the trees and covered himself with leaves to escape the heat. He grabbed a little snorkel to breathe through. Safest to approach from the downhill side to avoid the prickly leaves.
Another gnew gnome I haven't seen before. He was quite happy when I offered him a ride in the air conditioned car out of the heat.
Mr Bump has headed off into the wilds to find a nice quiet place to sleep. The last I saw of him, he was heading down the fire trail at the end of Lambe Place, Cherrybrook.
Look under a small rock ledge beside the fire trail

Nice to see Mr Bump again dropping by for a beer. After we've had a few, I'll find somewhere for him to sleep them off

As part of my 'transportation' of the infamous Mr. Kelly, I stopped by to farewell an old friend who was spending some time with him. Mr. Bump still seems to be recovering from something and the bandages are all in place, but I left him listening intently to Ned's stories. I didn't have the heart to try to move him along . . .

Mr Bump heard Kelly was in town, and wanted to see the Gnome behind the legend. We stopped and he decided to stay and 'hang out' with Kelly and revel in his life and stories.
Gone indeed! The rustling in the leaves could be heard miles away. I stopped by and grabbed the mummy...err...Mr Bump and his mate. Moving along...moving along...

Moved Mr Bump and Risque to an undisclosed location in Carlingford. Down the hill cross the creek and between the trees under the obvious pile of bark. Don't look now - they're already gone!
Mr Bump's injuries don't seem to have healed since our last meeting. Took him away from Cherrybrook Lake to save his bandages from getting wet.

Mr. Bump will have to get those coverings off, and strip down, before he can really enjoy The Lakes of Cherrybrook!
I think I'll leave him to the locals, in any case.
He's had a long trip and it was a warm day.
It might take him hours to disrobe!
Bye, bye Bump! Enjoy Sydney!

Aha!
I wondered what on earth I had uncovered here in Dural!
This one looked like something from King Tut's Tomb . . .
But log him I did, and bundled him into the car for transportation to Cherrybrook.
Maybe he's a 'Things that go bump in the night' kind of gnome.

Mr Bump was very well behaved last night, so I took him on a cache maintenance run. With all those bandages he was not able to run off, so I promised to help him find a nice bush to hide in after our work was done. So long Mr Bump.
Aargh! Too late he was gone when I got there. Just as well there was a few caches to do instead. It would have been nice to get to him first but that life!

Due to Mr Bump's health issues he didn't want to be on his own. What better person to leave him with than Old Grey GeGnome. They can share stories about their injuries and problems. The blind leading the blind.
I turned left and bush bashed across the thick buffalo lawn and found this poor sole without too much trouble.
Nice repair job. I thought I had found Tutankhamun.

Mr Bump was ready to move on so he hopped out the front of my place and stuck his finger out to hitch a lift.
Ah-ha! After a very detailed set of instructions (turn left and bush bash fowards a tree ??!!) I revisited this spot this morning. The plan was to get up at 5 and be there by 6 but it slipped an hour due to sleep
I followed the instructions carefully and immediately noticed Mr Bump resting in a dry patch under the corner of a rock I have no idea where he was when I visited here 5 days ago but I suspect he had gone exploring to have a good look around the area. He might even have found a few friends in the bush and been visiting them all.
However, he called out to me as I arrived, the rain might have curtailed his explorations today and I'm not sure how waterproof mummifying plaster is So I put him under my raincoat and carried him back to the car so he didn't get his feet wet.

One of the gnabbed gnomes from Canberra has made a new home at Seven Little Australians Park, replacing the monstrous Heave-Ho. Have fun with your GPSr here as it seems to play tricks.
A little worse for wear we took custody of this bedraggled chap in the Rydges car park after some first aid from Black Bunny. Now off to Sydney.

After a quick visit to A&E to see to his bumps, Mr Bump has taken up residence between Hughes and Deakin.
Picked up after geogirl attended a birthday party down this way. Have added a bag to help protect the log.
