Handed to whitewebbs on a fleeting visit down south
Moved along for someone in the area to find.
Picked this guy up on a walk around the area for our Geocaching day out. Will be moved along shortly.
I've had GG in my possession for far too long!
Sadly a stint in hospital can do that.
My apologies but we are now ready to move on again.
Safe travels.

Good to hoot.
Good to hoot.
Found waiting patiently by the garage door with a mottled collection of moveables all hoping for an adventure. Will be off and out soon.
Some last minute finds in the summer game to give us the chance to hopefully grab some points. We've seen this one before but always good to log a claim on such an old moveable cache. We'll move this one on asap. TFTC
Dropped off close to another caching team
Sleeping in the pine needles after party I g with the Dino’s at theTB hotel.
Quick find while in the company of gooseandegg, I will move on as soon as I can but since I have so many it could take me a few days

Journey or Destination
Game Period: 01-Dec-2018 00:00:00 to 31-Jan-2019 23:59:59 AEST
It is sometimes said [citation needed] that the game of geocaching is not about the destination it is about the journey. This game is about the choices you make in the experience of the journey or the destination.
On your entry to the game you will be asked to create a playing field with a number of ground tiles. Your playing field is a grid 20 x 20 ground tiles making a total number of 400 possible steps you can take on your journey or destination. You choose whether you want to find and follow the path or whether you wanted to meander around. A playing field is unique to each player so there is no benefit in teaming up to beat the system through brute force.
For each qualifying geocache that you hide or find during the game period you will be offered the opportunity to click on a ground tile and reveal what lies beneath. There are a number of different ground tiles that will be revealed when you click on your playing field. It should be noted that there are no punishments for clicking a tile but there will not always be the reward you were hoping for as you reveal each tile.
Dirt. The ground beneath the ground tile is just plain old brown dirt.
Dirt with some points. The ground beneath the tile is brown dirt but it has some points associated with it.
Concrete. The ground beneath is part of the pathway that will lead you on your way to your destination but has no point value.
Start. A concrete ground tile that has a blue map marker.
Destination. A ground tile that has a green map marker.
Meandering around and avoiding the path will accumulate points that will be used to place on you the ladder of wanderers. The more you stay off the path the higher the number of points you will accumulate and it will be your journey that will be the determining factor in whether you place into a prize winning position. You are free to select any ground tile to click on; they do not need to be next to each other.
Trying to find the path may mean you strike out on the dirt until you eventually come across the path and as a geocacher who can't say that this isn't a tried and true method. Once you find the path however will you try and follow the path as it changes direction around your playing field? Do you go North, South, East or West to try and find the next concrete tile along the path? If you head one way are you heading towards the start or towards the destination? When you do happen upon the destination tile then you will automatically be in a winning position.
At any point you are free to change from the journey to the destination and vice versa but you won't be able to regenerate your playing field. You are also free to keep playing as long as you have qualifying geocaches, accumulating more and more dirt tile points and placing you higher and higher on the ladder.
Qualifying geocaches fall into two categories. Finds and Hides.
A qualifying find is a geocache that meets the following criteria:
The geocache is listed at Geocaching Australia
The geocache has a hidden date prior to the game commencing
The geocache was logged by you on the Geocaching Australia website during the game period
The geocache was physically found by you during the game period
The geocache is not owned by you unless it is a moveable geocache
The geocache has not previously been found by you during the game period
The geocache is one of the following types:
Burke and Wills
Moveable (you will qualify only once for a find on a moveable geocache)
Traditional
TrigPoint
Augmented Reality
Beacon
Gadget
Multi-cache
Night Cache
Podcache
Reverse
Unknown or Mystery
A qualifying hide is a geocache that meets the following criteria:
The geocache is listed at Geocaching Australia
The geocache has a hidden date after the game has commenced
The geocache was published on the Geocaching Australia website during the game period
The geocache has a container size of regular or larger (Note: A regular geocache has a volume of 1 litre or more)
The geocache is one of the following types:
Moveable
Traditional
Augmented Reality
Beacon
Gadget
Multi-cache
Night Cache
Podcache
Reverse
Unknown or Mystery
The game tracking mechanism relies upon your honesty when logging geocaches as found or hidden.
The games administrators will undertake verification of a statistically significant number of logs.
Players who continually log inaccurate information will be disqualified from the game. The game administrators decision is final.
The game administrators will subtract qualifying hide or find geocaches from your tally if they are found to be not genuine.
The game administrators reserve the right to provide clarifications to the rules at any point during the game.
Don't forget to claim your limited time game trophies, if your qualify, while the game is in progress. Once the game completes the ability to claim your trophies is lost for ever.

Gnignox Gnatalis is exploring the Tasmanian bush while it waits to continue its exploration of the little island.
We were in the area when we noticed this moveable was nearby. Popped over and soon had captured this older moveable cache. It is always good to find an older cache with its original log.
Dropped off this moveable cache along with another one we picked up in Victoria recently to start their journeys in Tassie, happy travels
Found on our way from Echuca to Melbourne to catch the boat back home, we're travelling on back roads to try to make a few last finds on this whirlwind trip to the big island. Great to find a moveable cache with such a low number that's still moving. TFTC

Dropped off. Left of dirt track in the bushes, entering from the bitumen road. Go through bushes towards the fence. See photograph with arrow. This was taken facing the road. Owl is in the bushes as per the arrow. It is awaiting for a lift.
Spotted this with Goldenwattle. Great cache . TFTC Briggbottoms.

For some strange reason this cache did not load in the bulk load, so I loaded it individually. It still didn't show up on my Garmin. Weird! Therefore I wrote the coordinates down so I could load them manually to find the owl.
A lovely - big - owl with interesting things inside. The cache and inside objects are good. The owl though has a chunk missing from the top of its head, which can be seen in the photograph. It was hiding in a stump with the top of its head visible. My guess is something chewed/pecked it.
I will look for another location for this. TFTC Briggbottoms.

Despite that it is the middle of nowhere between Waterfall and Helensburgh, it is a very busy caching area: 5 Star Hotel and Forgotten, plus the parking is near three trigpoints and the three trigpoints are near two water towers and three communication towers.
Hope you stay the trip!

First movable for GeoDirk and HanorahTLG, it took some convincing that we are supposed to take this one with us. I will take this one with me to the Bundeena meetup on 2 August to hide it there somewhere.
Container is in good shape, kids were very impressed and wanted to carry it themselves instead of me carrying it in my backpack. Wins!

This one was found after looking where I thought it would be and then following the GPS for an easy find. The fourth of ten attempts for the afternoon.
Found this easily , but did not expect to find another owl pretending to be a gnome . Left a swaggie here. This is a very well constructed cache. Gnignox is very comfortable up here with his brethren, so I left him there.
Gnignox has managed to escape from the depredations of the Federales and is still in place at home.
yes a very rough place to search and initially got confused with Serio not sure if that is normally possible buy soon found the error of our ways, found with SDL and Albida interesting location
Headed off with Albida and Mtrax for (another) visit to the Gnome Gnation to see a few new residents. Although word on the way established a few had already taken off for greener, yet colder, pastures, we continued with our plan and still managed to catch up with quite a few of the recent arrivals.
Our plan this time was not a mass round up, but that doesn't mean future trips wont include a complete clean out. Time, and re-enforcements, will dictate future retrieval missions.
Thanks for this one.....

Blue Mountains GCA trip with Sol de Lune and Mtrax. We headed off to visit the Gnome Gnation area on Mt Piddington. We had some bad news on the way up that several had been retrieved yesterday, but we persisted and I managed to find 13 moveables, two GA Trads and two Trigs. The area up here is amazing. Dense bush opening out onto huge vistas and quite a bit of clambering to get to some as well. A great day, but now I have to chase a pile more locally. Thanks

Alas I couldn't work out/couldn't remember how to get into the scrub. After all the rain over the last few years the weeds have gone berserk. Parked just up from Gilmore Park & walked down a fair way but no access over the gully. Then drove to the eastern side but no where to park. If its still around after awhile I'll catch the train up & spend more time navigating - too bloody hot today. Thanks.
