Description
Whether these inane scribblings will remain for future generations of our ever-suffering race, I do not know. Whether our race itself shall survive the devestating Gnomish invasion cannot be said. But may this sorrowful record last as long as it will. I believe the end is nigh, but one last triumph shall be mine. I managed to capture one of the Gnomes! Yes, I captured one-- but briefly, momentarily, before the wretched little worm slipped through my fingers and scuttled away cackling into the weeds...
There is nought left for us to do but despair, for our race is doomed. Or perhaps resort to raving, gibbering madness. Perhaps I shall try that.
Gibber. Gibber. Rave. Nonsense. Gibber. Gnome. Gnome? Gnomey-Gnomey Gno-ome... Gnoooooommmmesss...!

Official Game Rules:
- The game commences at 00:00:00 1 December 2010 AEST and concludes 23:59:59 31 January 2011 AEST.
- The game administrators decision is final.
- You can not find and move your own cache during the game period
- Caches must be found and hidden by the same cacher (i.e. no mailing the cache to another cacher to hide)
- There is no limit to the number of times other cachers can find / move the cache provided there are at least two other finds / moves in between
- If a cacher moves your cache overseas and it remains unfound overseas for 1 week or more, the cache mover may move your cache back to the country of origin without breaking the "2 moves" rule
- There is no limit to the distance other cachers can move the cache
- Other cachers in the game may find / move your cache, but they must move it on within 2 days
Additional Cache Specific Notes:
- I have chosen to make signing the physical (paper) log sheet in my series of GeGnome caches OPTIONAL. This means that you do not have to sign the log; simply moving the cache and making an online log is sufficient evidence of your finding it. You may of course sign the log if you are, erm, able to. ;)
- If you do choose to sign the log, please limit your signature to two initials only and NO DATE, and write as small as possible. This is in order to conserve space! (You will see what I mean when you find the cache!!)
- The cache is constructed with two magnets attached. You need to remove the outer magnet to access the log. Please try not to lose the additional magnet. It is there to provide a seal for the hole.

Logs
To be honest, I really didn't expect this gnome to have survived the storms. Oh well, it was certainly a dramatic end to this one (in a very beautiful location!!)
Island off the Queensland coast. Very far from his home in Tasmania. Now the challenge could be to return him home. It's really up to the owner!!! Anyway he is behind the second black pole walking south from the helipad. Hopefully he is found soon.
You have to look lower than younwill no doubt.
He is a fun little guy hey?
ps. we initialled the log and note that there is only one magnet
This cache will be quite moist to find at high tide...though the hide is out of the water....
He wants to hide somewhere not too hilly
A tourist town for a new home
A pleasant stay for a little gnome
Who cleverly eluded Mad Chilli.
Sorry I found him before work!
